I heart Pets to Go. Clean with helpful staff. None of the 'junk' you find at the big box pet shops. Like Michelle H's review, I love supporting this place because it's one of the few Elk Grove mom and pop shops. I try to tell them every time too.

Wow. Getting sick on vacation is a total bummer anyway, but to drive to this "Doctor" was an experience in itself. The office was stained, dirty and a total mess. The girl behind the counter was popping gum and I wasn't much of a priority.
When the Dr arrived he did not wash his hands. I coughed and tried to cover it but he admonished me. I told him that in CA they wash their hands and usually wear masks if someone presents with strep. He said when he starts to feel he needs to do that, he will stop practicing medicine.
As someone who has redcurrant strep infections I knew exactly what I needed. He gets the stars because he did give me an Rx for antibiotics. next time I'm bringing my own from home.
On the way out I saw him leaning up against his car smoking a cigarette. All I could think was "well I'm not in California now". and was happy to get to Longs to get the Rx filled and go back with my family. Show owner comment »

Yay! Love Nugget. Good prices, nice staff and easy to navigate. Plus a wine bar. They clearly take pride in their work, which you can see when you walk in. This is no cookie cutter 'get em in and out' supermarket. They have the customer in mind. Thank you Nugget for coming to Elk Grove!

I am so happy with Dr. Ionescu and his staff. They are polite, kind and upbeat. Dr. Ionescu does a real exam and treats you like a real person. At his recommendation, one of my daughters had to go to a children's dentist because she was afraid. He said that every child should have good memories of dental visits regardless.
My youngest daughter is in love with the whole office and has decided to become a dentist because of this great office. Thanks to everyone!!! Especially the front office and Debbie!

A seriously great hair styling shop in the middle of Elk Grove. My daughters are 6, 8 and 19 and I'll be taking them there from now on. I had Katie, and she did a wonderful job on color and cut.

What can I say? My husband and I had our first date there. All I remember is great conversation, wonderful food and great atmosphere. Great bar and waitstaff. Three kids later, we still love to go there!

I have always enjoyed taking my family here -- not really for my little kids but great for myself, my antique loving teen and my mom.
Fun to visit and beautiful to see! The homemade lemonade in the mason jars, the fresh blueberries are all such a treat.

I waited a few weeks to try Henry's out, for the hoopla to die down.
I'm glad I got to see what it was like before it closes. It is trying to be Whole Foods but the things I found were NOT local. The sushi was 'freshly made' in.... North Carolina?? We live in California for goodness sake. Who knows where the fish came from... There weren't any signs telling me where the vegetables, fruits etc. were raised and I'm guessing they aren't local as they are trying to lead us to believe.
They are trying to be hipster but they really don't follow through the way Nugget does (local) or Trader Joes (price and quality). If Sac Natural Foods Co Op can't make it down here, I don't see how Henry's can.
The staff seemed confused and not particularly helpful. No one offered to help me to my car, most supermarkets I have to fight them to let me take my own cart.

Very rude to me and my kids, and we are all very well behaved, and will keep to Elk Grove and Kings Skate in the future They went out if their way to get old skates for my kids and they didn't roll correctly. I have no idea how this place stays open.
