happy hour starts at 3pm!!! well drinks, draft beer and snacks are all around $5.
the food is good, but i usually end up spending over $20 for lunch. my wallet can't handle that for too long. i'd rather spend the $20 on drinks to drown my work day.

seemed like a basic local bar. the kind of place we'd go for drinks with the neighbors. nothing too spectacular. it didn't have a lot of the liquor we asked for. we stopped to watch sunday football and they had the network games, but not the nfl channel. you've been warned.
the staff is super friendly and talk smack with all the locals. it was good stuff. :)
p.s. they don't have food, but will call in orders to hot shots for delivery. don't order the fish & chips.

i don't like clam chowder and i like their clam chowder. i used to go here 10 years ago and loved it. i just went again recently and loved it still.
not bad. standard motel rooms. clean. i did like the super king sized bed. that leads to some good not-so-wholesome fun!
there's continental breakfast in the morning. i thought prepackaged pastries, but there was cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, etc. not bad.

the first was in a tent cabin ($60). much more basic than i expected. it's was spacious compared to a regular tent. i wish it had an electricity option, but it was right along the river. that was nice.
the second night was at a regular tent site ($35). that wasn't too bad, but we were really close to each other. they are setting up electricity at each regular tent site. it's not ready yet, just need the permit. (will be $40 w/elec)
i think i'm obsessed with electricity.
