Came to this place hoping to get some accessories for my 80s costume. Not successful. I found that everything was a bit on the expensive side. Then again, costumes tend to be expensive. But, it wasn't what I was looking for in regards to my costume.
HOWEVER, the place is fully stocked with any costume you can imagine and their accessories. Rows and rows and rows of costumes, decor, accessories, props, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.
Will DEF consider coming back next Halloween.

I LOVE me Pier 1! I used to think Pier 1 was too expensive for my home shopping needs. Don't get me wrong, for the ultimate CHEAP I'll go to IKEA, but I just LOVE Pier 1's selection and their styles.
I recently ventured into this location looking for something for Thanksgiving. Looked around the store....VERY few Thanksgiving decorations. HOWEVER, right next to the select Thanksgiving stuff was the discounted Halloween stuff. SCORE! 50% off everything Halloween. Bought some Halloween-y coasters and other Halloween decor. The entire store was stocked full of Christmas stuff, which I have to go back for!!! One thing at a time!!!
The cashier was very friendly and I even pointed out where I had gotten the coasters since she said she had been eyeing them for a while.
Great selection, big store and friendly service. What more could you ask for? Except more Thanksgiving decor...

My GOD!!! Before Halloween this year I don't think I had set foot in a claire's in...um...8 years? BUT, I needed accessories for my 80s costume and I thought they would have good ones. I STRUCK GOLD!!!
The had all of their Halloween accessories and Fame accessories on sale: 50% off! I bought the lace gloves, leg warmers, cheesy 80s glasses, leggings, headbands and sweat band. ALMOST my entire costume!
If it weren't for the fact that they have good accessories that could be used for costumes, I don't think I would come is store. Their target clients are tweens and possibly teens. But, will take it into consideration come next Halloween.

EXCELLENT!!
A Pisco Bus virgin no more!!! This past Thursday I entered the wicked and wild world of the Pisco Bus!
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the first one (damn you school!) but I decided after hearing all about the Pisco Bus I HAD to make it to this one.
We met up at the Bass Museum, which I LOVE! And, were immediately greeted by awesome food, courtesy of sand-o-lab and 2 girls and a cupcake, and an awesome drink, courtesy of Gran Sierpe Pisco. OMG! It was heaven!
Next we moved on to the bus where we made our way to our next stop: Pacific Time. I've gotta say, I don't know if it was because of the lack of drinks in my system or what but this was my least favorite of the places we went to that night. It was basically just us. The food was quite delish though! hot and sweet shrimp and chicken salad bites...YUM!!!
Bardot was our next stop and DEF my FAVE stop of the entire night!!! This place is the epitome of COOL!! My God, I thought I was transported to the 70s! Such a cool and laid back atmosphere and there were instruments!!! REAL INSTRUMENTS!!!! I have to come back to this place SOON!!
Back on the bus people started to body surf. There were quite a few surfers this time as I heard there was only one last time. TAKE THAT!
Club 50 was next and there was something about someone taking their clothes off and jumping into the pool. The Club 50 police reprimanded us for being so irresponsible. JEEZ YOU GUYS!! I had been to Club 50 before but my JAYSIS is it beautiful!!! We had a lychee pisco drink which ended up being my favorite!
Our last stop was at the very exclusive W. This place was UHMAZING!!! SOOO beautiful! The bathrooms had glass walls and you could see what the guys on the other side were doing...really just waiting to use the stalls. The cabanas outside and the pool...it really was something out of an MTV show.
A GREAT night with great company, great drinks and great food!!! I am hooked on the Pisco Bus!!!

The only Waxy's I had been to was the one on the beach. This location is right in the Brickell area and located right next to the water. Very nice.
This location also has a better selection of beer: Chimay, Sam Adams Octoberfest, Brooklyn Lager, etc. However, it's a bit costly at $7 a beer. The food was ok. A bit costly as well. I had the chicken avocado club sandwich, which was tasty. Their fries are also pretty good and the chicken tenders were ok.
The best thing about this place is the location, no doubt about it. The service could use some help.

If it's sandwiches you want, it's sandwiches you'll get!
Came here Saturday night for dinner with fellow yelpers before entering the zones of sleepless night. Zac and I were STARVING so having quick food was a dream at the time. WRONG! Not quick...at all. AND there was no one else there! Honestly, it was just 6 of us, 3 of which actually had food! Why did it take so long?
I had the roast beef with crispy onions, jalapenos, crumbled blue cheese, arugula and tomato. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was yummy but there wasn't anything else with it. If you wanted chips you had to buy them separately, which was an additional $2 on top of the $8.50 the sandwich already cost. Yeah, it was a bit expensive for a sandwich.
The service was slow, the sandwich, although tasty, was overpriced, and it was completely empty. Don't know if we'll make it back anytime soon.

Great place for Happy Hour especially, but still needs work.
A bunch of us Yelpers decided to get together for Happy Hour a few Fridays ago. It was a great time!
There were drink specials for us ladies until 8 p.m. and we SURE took advantage of that! The Mexican Ass Shots were YUMMY!!! They had a decent selection of beer too. And they totally hooked it up with the drinks. I like my rum and cokes strong!
The place is nice and perfect for karaoke...hint. Also, it's pretty damn big inside.
All in all, good atmosphere, good drinks, and GREAT company!

Ah...I LOVE beer. I LOVE a place that has a good selection of beer. Enter DRB.
We came to the DRB after our Yelp Happy Hour at Jada Coles. Over 400 beers from around the world!!! HEAVEN!!!
The beer was reasonably priced and they had an awesome selection. The food, however, was ok but a bit overpriced. I had the arepa. It was one arepa cut in half. DEF not enough food and was expensive. This is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
The service was ok. Though the server did state they had JUST opened and were missing some of the food items on the menu.
I would love to come back to this place as the atmosphere and the beer is awesome. Everything else they could work on a bit.

OMG!!! One of the MOST fun events EVER!!!
So, Ana caught a ball with her face. Eve got tackled by two guys. Gus caught a rock with his knee. Well he slid right into a rock! The day was truly AWESOME!
I made some mistakes with the rules of the game...or was I just trying to phase the other team out? The world may never know...All in all, it was ridiculously fun!
I would love to do this at least once a week. The food was really good! I didn't have the beer because, for me, it was just too early.
Thanks to Maria for being our owner and getting Yelp to sponsor this. AND a very special thanks to Cynthia for coaching our team and leading us almost to victory! We'll get 'em next time Cyn!!!
Seriously, you all were great and I am proud to have played on your team!

This location is big and everything is widespread, unlike the one on 37th where everything is compressed. They have tons of products!
Came to look for accessories for my costume, and although it isn't as pricey as Halloween USA, still was not what I was looking for. Although, I did discover that they have decor for other holidays as well. I might come back to sample some of their Thanksgiving stuff.
Also, this is always a place to consider when shopping for Halloween.
