Sake bomb and sushi special. I'm starting my review out with this because it was a bit tricky to find a good place through Yelp that had this. You spend over $13 on food and you get unlimited sake bombs (until 10:30) for another $13. That seems like it's the standard deal around that area. Akane has the same jam going on.

It's good sushi and sake bombing is what it is, so I definitely recommend this. As the time gets closer to the sake cut off, they start serving your drinks less frequently but don't less them push you around! Grab that waiter and get some more liquor together. I guess if you have never been sake bombing, I would always recommend just making sure that they know if you have drinks are not. For example, if you're done with your beer, turn the bottle over. You know what I mean. You'll just get more out of your special for that reason. Oh and also what was nice was that after our allotted time was over, they didn't try to kick us out right away, which was nice.

For food, I ended up getting the 3rd Avenue Roll and some edamame. After picking on some of my friends' food (they offered!) I was definitely stuffed so this is a solid meal to get that juuust pushes you over that $13 limit.

Happy bombing!

Went here the other night and it seems like your standard bar. Nothing too special and nothing that really stands out. Their beer is normally priced and their music is at a normal Murray Hill bar volume. It's fine but I suppose you wouldn't go to this place for the atmosphere or a unique design.

If only I had known about the free popcorn when I went there, I would have been all over that. Beyond that, it was a pretty laid back place with good music. You still had to raise your voice to speak to someone but it was pretty easy to have a conversation with someone which is always appreciated.

Solid place to get some drinks and dinner with friends. Everything's pretty decently priced. I definitely recommend the steak tacos for this place. There were a couple in the combo platter that the party I was with ordered for an appetizer. Keyword: couple. If you get the combo platter, make sure you go and grab these first before anyone else does.

And don't feel like you have to order a Corona with the meal, their brewery holds a very high standard for making sure that all of their beer is skunked on arrival. You're much better off with a Negra Modelo.

Also - for when I was there, if you check in on Foursquare and sing the chorus to Duran Duran's "Rio," you get a free dessert. Booyah

Really helpful place. I'm not too good at finding things on shelf so whenever you get in, just tell someone right away what you're looking for and they'll help you find it quickly. Even if you don't know what you're looking for, you can tell them the facets of your project that you're trying to address and they will help you find the material. I've bought a bunch of paint, small supplies and got countless copies of keys from this place.

I see a bunch of other people Yelped that people were rude who worked here and that it was overpriced but that hasn't been my experience at all.

It's very rare that the grocery stores play better music than bars that I go to but Compare is able to do just that. It's a full fledged grocery store with a fish section and a butcher. The food selection is vast and they have plenty of drinks to get. And on the subject of drinks, they have just introduced a most excellent beer selection where their odd juice section used to be. Huge upgrade. It has everything here and is so close to my apartment that this is where I do most of my shopping. There isn't much here in terms of candy or medicine so you may want to head elsewhere for that. But they do have organic and specialty foods too.

Just so you know, I'm sitting here dressed as St. Nick waiting to go to Santacon so that should add to the trust factor for this review. Compare Foods is solid.

What can I say about this place that hasn't been said before? The price may be a bit high but you're getting multiple meals out of one sandwich, or at least my friends do. The sandwiches are MASSIVE. I always go for a sandwich with some sort of corned beef related sandwich. Either just straight of corned beef or half pastrami is enough to make your face melt from the incredible goodness. You also get a huge boatload of pickles with your meal. The line may be long but just think of it as an opportunity to increase your appetite before you dig into your monster sandwich. This place is really one of my favorite things about New York City. This was also the first place that I gnoshed a knish. Eh, there are better things to make potatoes into.

It's a little pricy for the paninis but they are a tornado of flavor. The place is friendly, clean and a little slow. Go here for your taste buds. The deli part is actually different than the restaurant part and I was only in the deli.

Decent place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an overall younger atmosphere in this place with many small companies filling out their roster. They constantly hold networking events to get people in the building working together in their own lounge downstairs. They always have beer and hors d'oeuvres so you can at least go for that. I won a skin care package there which I promptly gave away, but it was still nice to win something. There used to be a chalkboard in the bathroom until people wrote religious and immature stuff on the wall but they still do play some pretty kickass music in there.

I guess the failings are kind of the building itself? I had worked in an office here for over a year and every day, I thought I would trip over the uneven wooden stairs from the front of the building. It was so easy to set a foot wrong. And there's one step that sounds like they hid a bunch of dishes underneath it. The walls are also very thin so if you have someone loud working around you, you can definitely here them. My office was pretty loud sometimes and you could see people around us were not happy about it.

Also, the internet can be a bit spotty, going on and off intermittently. The atmosphere control on the inside is a bit.. intense. My experience was that it was always way too hot or too cold. Oh also, I mean this is a general rule I guess, but make sure you use a surge protector with your computer! There was a power surge here and some guy's computer blew up who had plugged directly into the wall. We had to evacuate, there was a bunch of smoke and they have to call the fire department. Know where your fire extinguishers are. It was intense.

Ah c'mon, this place isn't so bad! They put a bunch of benches up and a little fence so you can sit here nice and peacefully. It's a simple triangle park with no grass. It's good to eat lunch or some other meal on a nice day over here.
