Mall At Millenia

Seminole Towne Center
Categories: Department Stores, Shopping Centers
The Good:
Plenty of standard stores: You've got places like Borders, Dillards, and and Belk. So if you have a core store that you like to go to at your local mall, then chances are good you'll find it here.
Not crowded: This place is a veritable ghost town most days, and only really gets populated during the weekends
The Bad:
Not exactly a strong mall: Malls like Millenia and Florida are very strong because of their unique and interesting stores. Seminole town center definitely doesn't have any cool fountians or features, and all the stores are pretty standard stuff. Sure, you can get your Chick-Fil-A on while shopping at this place, but there's nothing that will make you really excited to go here.
Overall 6.8/10= Seminole Town Boring.
This place has a huge playplace, and some pretty awesome videogames, but if you are coming here for the food, be prepared to wait and complain, at least if you go on a Sunday.
The Good:
Thrills not found anywhere else: This place has some amazing rollercoasters, including the most amazing SheiKra. This rollercoaster simply cannot be described. It has a completely 180 degree drop where you can't even see the track. It is truly exhilarating, and I have been to several thrill parks in my day. Trust me, this one ride is worth the ticket price for thrill seekers.
Great Zoo attractions: Although this place is primarily known as a thrill destination, their animal attractions are equally amazing, especially the new Jungala attraction, which features monkeys, alligators, and tigers, oh my!
Free Beer: Go to the hospitality center, check out the horses and knock back a cold one. What more could you ask for??
I love going to Busch Gardens, and even though my daughter is not tall enough for most of the thrills, she still enjoys the different zoo attraction, and I love tag teaming with the husband on the rollercoasters.
Overall 8.9/10= Busch is Best!!
The Good:
Get your stuff fixed:The main draw of the apple store has to be the repair center where you can get your mac or ipod serviced.
Accessory heaven: Whether you want some spiffy earbuds, a docking station or some speakers, the apple store has certified equipment that you can really use (instead of just guessing about compatibility at one of the big box stores)
The Bad:
It's Apple: Apple has a reputation for being overpriced, updating it's products waaay too often, and charging way too much for repairs ($80 for a replacement battery?? WTF??) If you have a problem with any of these things, then don't even bother with apple.
Overall 6.9/10= Apple Mecca

Virgin Megastore Orlando - CLOSED
Categories: Videos and Video Game Rental, Bookstores, Music & DVD's
Virgin Megastore is a huge media store that sells almost everything media-related that you could ever want. This place has movies, music, books, videogames, and even apparel. This placde has two stories of plain awesome, and no matter what you're looking for, this place has it!
The Good:
Find what you're looking for: If you have ecclectic tastes in movies and music and movies, and frequently find yourself ordering things online, chances are good you will be able to find what you are looking for here. They have a huge selection of indie music and movies and if you can't find what you're looking for, it probably doesn't exist.
Huge Book and Videogame section: You definitely wouldn't expect a Virgin Megastore to have expansive book and videogame section, but this place has some amazing stuff here.
The Bad:
A little too much, perhaps?: Honestly there is so much here, when I first walked in I didn't know exactly where to start. I really got lost looking for music in the book section, and even though I wanted to look through the movies, we ended up needing to leave before I had the chance, which made me very sad. Make sure you clear your schedule for this one!
Overall 7.8/10= The most MEGA megastore
The Good:
Digital picture and sound:This place has noticeably sharp picture and sound, and they feature dolby digital sound, which is really great during those musicals...I mean...action movie
Serves Alcohol: It's cool, yeah, but sitting in a theater drinking is not exactly my cup of tea. But if it is yours, more power to you.
The Bad:
High Ticket prices: If you go a few more miles into Kissimmee, you can get into a movie for $7, so I don't really think that the $9.50 ticket price is really fair.
Just like every other theatre: Honestly I don't think this place is cool enough to make a special trip for. I mean if you are at Citywalk anyway, I would check it out, but there is no way I would make a special trip just to this place.
Overall 6.2/10=Cine-yawn
The Good:
Keep it simple: I really love how focused this place is. Just bags and shoes, matched together, in perfect harmony. There really isn't much volume to look at, but I think they have just the right amount of stock.
Sales: This place has semi annual sales where they mark their stuff down 50-80% honestly, this place is waaaay out of my price range normally, but on sale days you can get a boot+bag set for $100 or less, which is totally within budget, and totally worth it coming from this place.
The Bad:
Prices the rest of the time are terrible. Bags go for ~250 a pop, and you don't even want to know about the shoes. Just wait for the sales!
Overall 7.8/10 = Go here twice a year!

Universal Studios
Category: Amusement Parks
The Good:
Fun, family centric rides: Unlike Islands of Adventuire, Universal Studios deosn't have any rollercoasters, making it perfect for families without iron stomachs. Though some of the rides can get intense at times, none of them are really thrilling or scary.
Lots of movie magic: This place has rides inspired by movies like The Mummy, Jaws and ET, so there's something everyone can relate to.
The Bad:
What happened??: OK, here's where I'm going to complain. What happened to King Kong?? That was this place's signiture ride for YEARS. I remember when my mom worked here it was on their NAMETAG, that's how crucial it was. Equally heartbreaking was the cut of the Hanna Barbera attraction and the Ghostbusters show. Oh, the saddness. Does anyone know if they are still doing the horror make-up show?? If that was cut I am so going to pieces.
Universal Studios is definitely worth a visit, and if you have never been there before you won't be dissapointed. But if you have, I am sorry to say that you might be....
Overall 7.0/10= Universal, why you be changin'??

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
Category: Amusement Parks
The good:
Rollercoasters: Ogf course the coolest rollercoaster here has to be the hulk rollercoaster. I mean, it shoots you out of a cannon!! Pure adrenaline awesomeness. Of course an honorable mention must go to the Dueling Dragons, which you MUST ride twice (the two tracks are totally different!
Kiddie Rides: The kiddie rides are basically secluded to the Dr. Seuss portion of the park, but that doesn't mean they are not cool. I personally loved the Cat in the Hat ride, but there are also plenty of water rides that are suitable for kids.
Family Rides: There are tons of rides that both kids and adults will enjoy, and I have to say that the best of these is the Amazing Spiderman ride, which is in some amazingly realistic 3-D. This is probably the best ride in the park and is suitable for everyone.
The Bad:
n/a
This place really has something that everyone can agree on, and I have been here with my parent, my husband, my friends, and my daughter, and have had an equally good time with all parties. And that's saying something!
Overall 10/10

The Mall at millenia is definitely a mall you have to "dress" up to go to. With stores like Gucci, Neiman Marcus and a food court with the Cheesecake factory in it, you can understand why.Still for being such a classy mall this place is pretty fun to walk around.
The Good:
Looks Matter: Mall at Millenia has to be one of the best looking malls I have ever been to. They have some amazing sculptures and fountains interwoven into the hallways, and I really enjoyed looking at some of them. There are also plenty of plush couches to sit on, and the whole place feels very inviting.
The Bad:
I can't afford ANYTHING: This place has what we like to call "ultra-high -end" stores, so don't be suprised if you get here and can't actually spend anything. I mean if you are on a budget, this place is probably your enemy. But, iif you're coolwith just browsing (or perusing the clearance rack) Mall at Millenia can still be quite fun to troll through.
Overall 6,1/10= How the other half lives (and shops!)
