Huh. Apparently, in looking at the other reviews, you have to come here when it's not right at lunch or dinnertime, because we came around 1:45 or so and it took maybe 10 minutes for our entrees, 5 minutes for our appetizers. The nachos were great, with so much guac and sour cream, and I got a veggie burger with a "special sauce" that made it taste better than a regular veggie burger that I would get at most places. Our server was nice and the place was really clean!
Man, I've been meaning to come here forever, and I'm glad that we finally did. It's absolutely beautiful, with a lake and a babbling creek, wooded trails, a playground, and even paddleboats! The day we came, they were setting up for the Fantasy of Lights, in which you drive through the park with a bunch of displays lit for Christmas. How lovely! There were so many children playing, parents pushing babies in strollers, dogs running around, geese and other birds chilling throughout the park... It was a wonderful place to take a seat on a clean bench and relax without having to think about anything. It was $6 to park, but I'm happy to pay that price if it means I get a bathroom with toilet paper, hand dryers, soap, and even real mirrors! I will come back again, no doubt about it.
Wow, I can't believe this is the first time I've come here after living by the Alameda for so long. The breakfast burritos are probably the best I've had in SJ... As a vegetarian, you can't go wrong with avocado, and there was plenty in my burrito, along with egg and cheese and potato, as well as sides of salsa and a great orange sauce that I suspect isn't made mainly with beef grease like the sauce at La Vic's. I savored that baby for a good while... It was worth the $5 and the 10-minute wait through the Saturday breakfast rush. Nice!
I could totally give this place a five if the service had more smiles and conversation! It's a great place for a weekend stop... I got a wonderful chai latte in a real mug, and we stole a great spot at a table in front of the window, which allowed for some good people/dog/people+dog watching. The free wi-fi cuts out every now and then, and is a little slow, but oh well. Nice atmosphere, beautiful interior, decent prices, comfy couches and outdoor seating... I could come back here again for one of those quiches :)

This place is pretty nice... It definitely has the setting I love, as far as the couches and good scene, but I got a weird vibe when I walked in, like they were glaring at my group when we claimed a couch when we walked in. The drinks were pretty good, though. You need a password for the internet, but it's free. Can't complain.

Well... I haven't gotten any food, so I can't say how great this place is from a well-rounded perspective, but I got a chai latte, and I can see why it's not on the menu: it just tastes like warm milk. At least it was cheap, $2.19. I had to go across the street to the bank to get some cash because you need a minimum of $6 to use a credit card. The food DOES look good here, and I'll have to try it out. The staff are very kind, and while they have their own internet, I can still get SJSU internet from here. It's a nice place to chill :)
Yeah... We decided to come here because we kept seeing the commercials where'd they'd brush this cheesy-buttery sauce over little shrimps, and it looked so good that we couldn't resist. We arrived at dinnertime on a Friday, and while it was busy, we were seated less than a minute or two. Haha, I could tell they put us in the Kiddie Korner because our little wing was kind of separated from the rest of the place, and everyone in the booths around us had at least two little kids :) Our waitress served us fairly soon, and we had figured out what we wanted (I knew what I wanted before I got there :) and we ordered right away. The staff were friendly, and I was happy the salad came out because I was starving! Our entrees came out in 10 or 15 minutes, which was fine, and while our broccoli was pretty salty, everything was very good, and I wasn't disappointed.
Wow. I'm sipping on probably one of the best drinks I've had in a while: a pumpkin chai latte. It's perfectly sweet and makes me long for Thanksgiving. It feels great in here, with a warm atmosphere and pretty chill peeps. The prices here are pretty basic, and the interior includes some chipped pain and battered tables, but I guess it adds to the feel of the place. Very nice. I'll come back again, especially considering the other great places there are to visit right around here. And the pastries look pretty amazing... stupid glass case...
This was a pretty good place. We came here at 9 on a Saturday night, nearly when the restaurant was closing, but the waittress just kindly reminded us that we needed to order before 9:30 and we didn't feel rushed. There were three menus to choose food from: an appetizer menu, a specials menu, and a regular dinner menu. We ordered a salmon-egg special, Philly rolls, and an udon soup. The food came out quickly, and for the most part, everyone was happy with what they ordered, although the general consensus was that the dinner entrees were pretty salty. The prices were regular, and the basic rolls were pretty cheap. Can't complain :)
I enjoyed it here... It's a good option if you feel like sushi at 4 p.m. :) It's nice and clean inside, and the menu is pretty good, with a lot of good rolls at moderate prices. I got the vegetable udon, which looks plain but is actually very good (if you can stand vegetables noodles in just a clear broth). The portions are very good, and there are some good deals, like $15 for unlimited drinks per table! The service was great and very attentive. For my udon, a roll and a chicken teriyaki entree, the bill was $40. Plus I found a little gnat in my udon, but how easy is it to prevent that?
