Told the wife: "I want sit-down Mexican that isn't a chain and is good."
This is what she came up with. Lamb tacos?! Yes!
We had lamb tacos, cactus salad, and lamb soup. I've never tried any of this before and was exceptionally pleased.
Service was nice and the wait on a Sunday afternoon wasn't too long.
I will go back.

I'm pretty much a neophyte when it comes to Brazilian but BBtB is pretty tasty. I've had most of the appetizers, steak and stroganoff and all were decent. Needless to say I left very, very full.
If I went back I'd get a singe entree and call it a day.

The lunch buffet here is the #1 choice here in my opinion. You can get a wide range of everything at decent prices.
The buffet has your usual suspects like chicken tikka, but also idllys, sambar and other South India tasties.
If you come during non-buffet time you should go after the dosas, particularly the Mysore masala. The Indian-Chinese is very tasty too.

Great food, fast, tasty carrots. I'm a fan of the pollo asado, tortas and burritos. They're all good and I would go back unquestionably.

Overall, food is alright. Falafel, OK. Kabob. OK. Gyros, OK.
The one major complaint I have is that the wife and I went at night to get gyros and both times the meat seemed old. Both times we got stomach aches later and suspect that the meat sits around after lunch, or is made at the start of dinner and sits til late dinnertime.
I'm not sure if this is truth but I'm definitely cautious with the food I order when I've gone back subsequent times.

I came to Tapioca Heaven with the intention of adding another boba joint to my repertoire. Overall, I was left wanting a little more. There were only about five or six boba tea choices compared to about the 50 or so at my normal place. Granted, I don't need that many choices but a few more would be nice.
I'd go back to give it another shot but the first time definitely didn't leave with with warm fuzzies.

Extraordinary Desserts

Ahh, for about five years I've had a love hate relationship with Extraordinary Desserts. On the good side, yes their pastries are fantastic. On the bad side, their pastries are expensive ($11 for a slice of cake??). From and operations standpoint, they're a travesty. Long lines, long waits, and no way to get a quick order other than walking through the crowds surrounding the cake case.
Like I said, the cake/pastries are fantastic but for the love of God, please spend a couple of thousand bucks and get an operational efficiency expert in to the stores. After all the goal is to make the most money as possible (as evidenced by your prices) and to have your customers come back (which many won't if they have to wait an hour to get a piece of cake).
I really do think with the quality and a few improvements this can go from a frustrating place to eat to an absolutely fantastic one.

I can't stand Subway, it's the bane of my culinary life. We have a limited number of meals on this earth, why would you waste one on a tasteless sandwich?
Capriotti's is a chain place like Subway, but tastes good. I go with the Bobbie, aka Thanksgiving in a sandwich.
The bread is good. Stuffing is seasoned correctly. The turkey is neither slimy or dry. This adds up to a good sandwich and a chain sandwich shop I'll willingly go to.
