Some colleagues of mine and I decided we would give La Pizza Casa a visit for lunch, and we were NOT disappointed! I had a steak stromboli, which was great. Everything from the quality of the ingredients to the taste of the sauce was pleasing to my palate. Another person at our table got a steak hoagie, which was also good and a sizable portion. I also had a cannoli for dessert which was very good as well. A lot of places sell Italian desserts, but not all places have good Italian desserts and La Pizza Casa is the exception.

Bubba's is a fairly typical pizza, sandwich and salad place, but probably your best choice for a nice variety in Saxton. The pizza is really good and this place is great for kids, complete with some arcade games and toy dispensers that keep the kiddos entertained.

On my recent visit, I got a taco salad, which was pretty good, even if it was missing the salsa and sour cream. :(

A nice place for a good meal with attentive service and a friendly atmosphere.

The staff at James Drug Store are very friendly and attentive. I've been doing all of my drug store business here for a couple of years now, because of their personal touch.

I'd rather support a local, hard-working and family run business than the big chain alternative.

I've never had Thai food before, so I don't have a reference point to compare it to, but I really enjoyed the meal I had here!

I got the red curry chicken. Next time, I think I will get the green curry chicken because it is spicier.

The service was very good! The only complaint I would have would be that it was really cold in there. I kept my coat and hat on the whole time I ate.

Longhorn is a nice place with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

I had the prime rib sandwich with salad for lunch. The sandwich was excellent, but was served with a fairly bitey horseradish dressing. I would have rather had it with an Au Jus, they should give you that option. The salad was good. Quality dressing and the bread they put on the table was also very tasty.

Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals ranging from sandwiches to steaks.

I've been here a couple of times now and in both visits I've found the service to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is great! I like things spicy, so the steak burrito with hot everything was enough to make my nose run for about ten minutes after I finished eating, which made me very happy.

The only thing that could be better would be the chips. They're much like store bought and I would rather have freshly made chips, but hey...it is fast food.

While vacationing in Ocean City, MD this passed Summer, my family decided we were hungry for some ribs so we checked out Smoker's.

We got one of the family meal deals, which worked out great! The price was right and the food was very good. We got ribs and chicken. I enjoyed the sides, including the potato salad. The cornbread was especially delicious!

If you're in or around the OCMD area, give Smoker's a try.

This passed Summer, my family spent a week in Ocean City, MD. We had one definite mission to accomplish at some point during the week...to enjoy some excellent seafood. After looking at reviews online, we decided that the drive to DE for dinner would be a nice change of pace and the Fenwick Crab House did not disappoint!

Portion sizes were ample and the food was great! You know how sometimes the food on the children's menu isn't all that great? Not here! My 5 year old got pizza and not only could he not finish it, it was pretty darn good pizza for a seafood restaurant.

I got the sample (chicken, rib and crab cake) platter, and all of the food on it was great! My only mistake was not getting the full crab cake dinner. They are very serious about their crab cake and it shows! Easily the best crab cake I have ever tasted. Next time, that's what I will be getting.

My wife, mother in-law & 10 year old son all got shrimp and they too were very happy with their meals.

All in all, it was a great experience and I look forward to a repeat visit the next time I am in OCMD.

This passed Saturday, my family and I ventured into this Burger King hoping to grab some quick supper before going to church for the evening. It was 4:30 PM and the restaurant was empty. We looked around to choose a table to eat at and that is where the problem was. Not a table in the entire establishment looked like it had been wiped off all day!

Did I mention the restaurant was EMPTY? The employees were just hanging out behind the counter goofing off, at least one of them texting or playing with her cell phone.

After some debate about even getting food from there, we ended up ordering our food to go, since we were headed to the social hall of the church anyway. After placing my order, I took the cups to the soda fountain area where I was, once again, disgusted by the dirty/messy area that it was. Spillage and straw papers were everywhere. I again questioned whether or not I should even eat the food. Fortunately, the food we got was good and we didn't have any "after effects" from it, so they must at least have decent food handling procedures behind the counter.

I waited a long time for Altoona to get an Indian restaurant and Tandoor King does not disappoint.

I have been there nearly half a dozen times and the food has been consistently good. I have tried the buffet yet once, and wasn't in love with the selections on it, but I understand they change the offerings every day..

A few times, the service was a little lackluster. I also think it can be a bit pricey, especially when you consider the portion size of items off the menu.

All in all, it's pretty good Indian food without having to drive all the way State College.
