Driving down Newbury Street this place stood out like a ray of sunlight during a dark thunderstorm. It was they only place with people sitting outside! "Insanity" we thought! But no, it was actually gigantic outdoor umbrellas each large enough to cover and keep dry up to TWO four person tables.
Anyway I got a mediocre mocha (small) and a piece of extremely delicious, extremely expensive, and extremely chocolate cake. I couldn't say enough about how fantastic the cake was in this lifetime so I'll stop here.
Notice how I mentioned my mocha was a small before? My main/only problem was the price of everything. A small mocha and a relatively small piece of cake for a total of $9 and almost enough cents to make it $10? I guess that chocolate cake was too rich for my blood after all.
With great outdoor seating when I needed it most, rain or shine, I'll overlook the bill this one time and push L'Aroma to 4 stars. Although the mocha was just like at any jazz-playing wanna-be-a-cafe-not-a-coffee-shop place, the cake got more like 7 stars and I won't forget it soon.

The clothing section is about three times the size thanks to the basement floor. They have 90% women's clothing, however, the little rack dedicated to men was packed with cool t-shirts and some long sleeve waffle fabric shirts. They were all hand pressed by different (mainly local) artists. Ranging from 35 to 55 dollars a piece they are a bit pricey, but you are getting a rare and few of a kind shirt. They are hip little articles I should add. They have plenty of smalls which was a thrill for me. I bought a red T right off the manikin with the print of a trashy looking rock star/hipster looking chick. Only worn it once and I've already received a lot of compliments
Oh yes, the help at the bar and the clothing section were exceptionally friendly and nice. In fact I was quite surprised at the level of friendly and helpful service. Check this place out!

Beware of the $20 credit card minimum. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem for me, but as I said before, I had been sighted many-a-place before Niagara.

Each bite is a little wrap of your food, WHICH is delicious. This was about a month ago so my memory is lax, but I believe I had a chicken lemon dish, delicious. But don't forget the steamed veggies. The last vegetable you might ever eat you just cannot get enough of.
The environment is quaint and dimly lit, but not as though it will give you a headache like low lighting often does to me. The help, couldn't say if they were Ethiopian, but they sure knew what they were doing. They might have had a slight issue with understanding me when I spoke to quickly but I like that sort of thing. They were super helpful and answered every question I had about Ethiopian food. They also gave us warm clothes to wipe our hands before we began.

Did I mention it's not at all expensive? Completely reasonable prices for pastries that are unreasonably good.

Make sure to get CAKE BATTER milkshake or some variation of the cake batter flavored ice cream. Trust me, it's heaven on your tongue.

Their alcohol selection is 99% wine with only one brand of beer which happens to be incorrectly labeled on the menu. They don't have Buzzard's Bay in lager, pale, or golden ale. They have something, which I can't remember the name of, in only pale ale or lager. It's likely I forgot the name because it is nothing to at all be excited about.
The calamari appetizer was absolutely delicious, but like everything else here I felt it was slightly over priced. If the prices on everything dropped even as little as a dollar, but preferably two or three on the entries, I might consider visiting again. As it stands, however, it was an average experience I don't see myself having again.

All of these FREE lessons occur in a group setting and two or so times a month, I believe, unless you make a special request for one-on-one help. The private help I've noticed seems to be focused on those people relatively new to computers. This likely moves more at their pace and allows them to ask many questions without feeling embarrassed. With that said, the instructors appear on the young side but turn out to be incredibly informative, helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic teachers.
As for most of us who aren't taking lessons... I felt this was an important information bit a lot of other Yelpers might be interested in. Some of you still use Windows based computers and I want to help you join the world of reliable computing! I'd bet you PC users have had more computer crashes while just viewing Yelp than I have had over the entire past five (5!) Mac using years of my life.
