Well they are consistent.  I wanted a Chinese Buffet and this fits the bill (It looks like they are configured for larger events).  The food was good (I had to pause on my review as I got back from Afghanistan and everything tastes better than the DFAC (chow hall)) and was a very reasonable price. I stop in here when I am in the outer burbs, though getting in and out can be a pain at times.

Best Peruvian Chicken in the area.  Hands down.  Succulent and juicy, with just the right balance of spices.  The fries are top notch, not over cooked but with the right combination of crispy and but not overcooked.  And while I am not a huge coleslaw fan, this is about as good as it gets.  And the best part? It is insanely cheap.

Charbroiled oysters.  And that is pretty much it.  
I give them a high mark only for that one item, the other stuff we sampled was, well.... meh.  But the oysters make this place a must visit.  Just save yourself the hassle of a less than stellar meal in a city full of good eats (why waste the calories on anything less than the best).

Cheap beer, cheap bowling at a modern bowling alley?  Yes please.  

I don't get the whole trendy bowling alley thing, with expensive drinks and expensive bowling.  This place has solid food, cheap beer and the chance to bowl a lot.  The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

If you are associated with the military this is a steal.

I am very touchy about my eyes, I was only able to start wearing contacts 5-6 years ago. But a pending involuntary visit to a very primitive country courtesy of Uncle Same finally motivated me to pull the trigger.
They are very competent and patient, willing to answer all your questions and lead you through every step of the procedure. Is it pricey? Yeah a bit but for someone who has had to wear glasses/contacts for almost 25 years this is a freeing experience.

Brunch!!!  While I definitely like  dinner that Liberty Tavern offers, the gem of this place is the brunch.  Everything on it was delicious, it was definitely a great way to consume some copious calories on a Sunday.  Make sure you save room for the dessert section, there always seem to be some tasty treats there.

Good German isn't cheap.  The beer is just what you would expect, a good mix of good German beers.  Though we didn't have time to get any of the food it all looked good, everything on there looked tempting to this good German boy.  Although for me this place is highly inconvenient to get to this place definitely tempts me to come back.

Well worth the wait!   The odds are you are looking at 30-40 minutes from the time you call (even if you are eating in I would recommend calling ahead) but what a payoff at the end.   Crispy with delicious sauce (I liked both the Soy-Garlic and the Spicy (I have a high heat tolerance) sauce) that has to be eaten to really appreciate it.  We came hungry and shared an order of fries (you would think a place that fries its chicken so well would do a slightly better job on the fries) before hitting the main dish.  We shared an order between us, a mix of drumsticks and wings and between that and the fries we left with very happy stomachs.  

The only catch is the service.  We were there for more than an hour, and only had our waitress stop by 4 times (3 with food or the check).  When you have to go to the bar and flag the staff's attention to get simple things like ketchup?  Or sin of all sins, to get more beer (really, every establishment that serves beer should keep an eye on your beer level, coming by right by the last 10% or so to see if you want more.  The margins on it make not doing so stupid)?  Next time will probably be takeout.

I didn't realize that this truck even existed (they are not on the food truck tracker that I use).  Until I walked down the street in Rosslyn and decided to give them a try.  Given that my GF is obsessed with cupcakes I knew I had to pick up a pair for the evening.  Priced about average for the cupcake world ($3) it is definitely nice to have this place be right outside the door.

The Double Madagascar Vanilla was definitely one of the best cupcakes I have had.  I know I will definitely buy it again the next time I see them on the street.

I love the brunch at this place.  And the specials are nice once in a while.  Good beer selection and lord is it convenient for me.  And yet I almost never come here.  The main reason is the food outside of brunch?  Pretty solid "med", nothing to really note or cause me to stop by other than to meet up with someone.
