Tea Garden was my entre into Chinese food. Lets be honest, its not like going to Monterey park, but for NH it does pretty well.
I even fell off the guard rail in the parking lot once playing "who falls first" with my gymnast sister. and broke my head and went to the emergency room.
My guess is, its the lo mein that saved me.
Typical Chinese restaurant cuisine, Peking Dumplings as they call them back east, lo mein, fried rice, wonton soup, spare ribs, all good and I love eating here when I go back to see my folks.
PArking is in back.

The food is still pretty tasty.
Not amazing, but pretty good.
The attitude is still a bit annoying.
Asked if I had a reservation in a nearly empty restaurant at 7:15 on a Wed? Then told to hang on to see if they had anything available? Really?
I can show you 10 empty tables inside alone.
Then I had to ask to be say outside when the hostess started walking toward the back room.
The service was confusing, 3-4 different people asked us varying things. Two people about drinks and one about food another to deliver the wine, another to deliver the food, and of course ask us who ordered which meal.
Seriously.
Applebee's has this down. KNOW WHO ORDERED WHAT! There are two of us, we ordered two things, Fat guy red hair ordered thing 1, hot brunette who must just like this guy for his money ordered thing number 2. Deliver accordingly.
Secondly.
You don't allow additions or substitutions? No adding some chicken to a pasta dish. I get it, it messes up your mojo, but let us be honest here. Make that little thing an option. I like me some protein with my pasta. Let me do it, don't suggest I order the chicken entree instead. Maybe I will next time and tell them to chop it up and put it in my pasta.
That being said, we weren't at all hurried, or at all rushed out post meal, and the decor is great. But the haughtiness is a but much.
On the corner of Ambrose and Hillhurst is Little Dom's.
A small split level italian restaurant with a limited menu but pretty solid eats.
The hostest seated us promptly in a booth with leather seats and marble topped tables. The booths in front are across from the bar, which did not seem to affect meal dynamic at all.
Comfortable all in all. As it got darker outside it got darker inside. Like, where is the candle on y table so I can read the menu dark. As in, I can't see you and we are at the same table, dark.
Anyway the menu is small, includes several starters, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and larger plates.
The bread was less than exciting and was served in a white paper bag.
The Rice balls are pretty tasty, having a nice texture combo of moist and crunchy, due to their being fried.
The spaghetti and meatballs was good, the meatballs were better than most I've had eating out. More meatty than bready which was nice.
The sauce was good, not amazing.
The portions are not huge, but I was certainly filled. Though I did clean my plate. A rarity in most italian places.
The gelato was okay.
Service was decent, but not overwhelmingly good.
All in all not a bad option but also not an amazing option.
I will note this, the bar clientele was very attractive, and well dressed. This could be a good local hang out.
