This was adopted fandom as I was a big supporter of the chef when he was at the Poleng Lounge.

The calamari and sweet potato fries have improved significantly and the garlic noodles are mmm, mmm good.

***  With the exception of the front greeting area/bar and the downstairs designated clubbish area, they are not wheelchair accessible - the dinner area is upstairs and unreachable for ones such as myself.

Eva is a visionary!  My hair really needed a cut and I had no idea what to do with it.  Eva played with my hair, smiled, and gave me a style that looks great, is fun, and  very professional.

I love this cut and I know that if I am ever to get stuck on style again, I can trust Eva.

The pies here are unforgettable.  It has been a while since I've worked in the area but even with that length of time, I remembered to come here for pies.

This pie shop and diner is the place to be if you happen to be in the area late at night.  Lucky me, I worked around here for 4+ years and got to enjoy a good number of their treats.

I went back a couple days ago with friends to have dinner and pies.  I didn't have any dinner since I just came from a gathering at a Korean restaurant and needed dessert.

    What we ordered and enjoyed:

    German Chocolate PIE!
    Cheeseburger w/ onion rings
    Peanut butter creme pie
    Lemon Meringue pie
Pumpkin creme pie - novel idea for a pie; however, the presentation could use a little help - it looked like ice cream melted on it.

Service was cordial and very attentive to our needs.

I'll always come back to this establishment for salad, pies, and a burger every now and then?

Great reception and assistance throughout the premise; but, without the assist, finding a way in or out of the conference hall is impossible for a handicap patron rolling in.

They charge $15 a day for internet - disappointing for a Silicon Valley welcome.

Upon departure, the doorman was helpful when advising my ride to come back for me and to pull up in a specified handicap spot to load me in.  My friend came back to park in the designated spot; and, when I got propped up in a standing position we were asked to close the door.  Mind you, getting me standing was not easy but we conceded, I got back in the chair, rolled out of the way, and when the doorman finished with directing some traffic through, he told us we were blocking the crosswalk.

Let me get this straight, they directed us to park in a handicap spot in the driveway to load an exiting disabled guest, but right the guest gets vertical... they decide to call the loading zone a crosswalk.

Tea's the Season

Finding this spot was a very pleasant surprise. A friend and myself were looking for a spot to snack and chat before checking in for a movie. This place is immediately outside the front of the theater and is beautifully organized with great service and a very cozy, relaxing sitting area.

My friend has vowed to come back with her children as this location is a perfect place to show them how us grown-ups throw tea parties.

They serve their loose leaf teas in adorable pots with filters for you when you poor the tea into the cute cups provided.

We will be back.  :)

***** Sweet tea
***** Lemon square

I've tried some other diners and coffee shops in the area and this shop redeemed downtown for what I had thought had a lack of memorable chai lattes.

They are roomy, chill, friendly, and have free wi-fi.  If you're a student, this can be a great study spot.

They do not take cards and if you need cash, there's an ATM there.  ^_^

I'm happy to add a star to this review.  They deserve it for becoming the go-to place for when the library closes - great study environment, wi-fi, and munchies; and now, another star.

I give spots second tries before saying anything bad and well, #2 was today and feel free to take that however.

The place was pretty empty at lunch which made the atmosphere relaxing.  :)

The service was friendly, but slow (can't say they were busy).

Wi-fi is available but through a wireless connection from Pizza my Heart next door.

ALLERGY WARNING:  The tofu pan cake has seafood residue.  The menu does not state a lingering taste of squid was to be expected on the tofu dish..

The dishes were a bit much as nothing stood out as an "I have to come back" factor.

I'll be avoiding this spot as my pocket is aching from the meal.

This restaurant was the perfect food and location for what my friends needed.  The menu is seriously massive and the entrees match the gargantuaness.  To help you out, I took home a menu and snapped some pics.  The only foul up was me not snapping a pic of the table's favorite dish, the Seafood Pancake.  If you like seafood, there's a 90% chance you'll fall head over heels for this dish.

Then there was the rice plate, the Bibimbap (seasoned veggies, beef, and fried egg over rice), which happily found its way to everyone's plate and innards.

Of course we all helped ourselves to some magnificent Korean BBQ, Gal Bee. I think this and the Bibimbao is what are most commonly ordered but I believe me and my friends may be expanding that wish list to include the Seafood Pancake.

The service was very attentive and cordial, this could make for a nice 1st date spot, (maybe after a movie at the Sundance Theaters), big parties would work here too (max occupancy of 70).

This location looks like the place to go if you're a night oel that needs to get its munch on in the weee am hours.  || Thu-Sun 11 am - 4 am.

There is an affordable lunch special but I'll have  to comment on that when I go back to give it a try.

I've been here for a few months now and they've impressed me -- I  am not a stranger to hospitals either.

The facility is super clean, staff is friendly & attentive, meals are HUGE & healthy, visiting hours are decent, physical therapy is helpful & innovative, activities & entertainment are available; but remember  this is physical rehab, not a ClubMed.

The social worker here is also a saint of an advocate.  He  worked on my case tirelessly to  ensure that my much needed treatment would get administered.

The staff here does great at making your recovery quick and comfortable.
