I recently have lost some weight and my pants were not fitting quite right and two of my friends had recommend that I give Essy's a try.  I brought my pants in and the owner dropped what he was doing and had me try on my pants for him so that he could pin and mark the waist line and the hem line.  

You can tell he is a very skilled at his craft, is a constant professional, and very customer service oriented.  He explained what he would be doing and ensured that it will look and feel great.  One week later I came back to pick up my pants and he suggested that I try them on to make sure they fit correctly.  Sure enough, everything was perfect!  My pants fit just right and as I inspected his workmanship you cant even tell that anything was altered.  He's that good!

I definitely plan to come back to Essy's for all my alterations.

Stopped in to Eddie Papa's this afternoon for lunch and was pretty impressed with this location.  I have not been to the one in Pleasanton yet but this particular Eddie Papa was pretty modern and has a "loungy" vibe to it.  We were seated near the bar just to the right of the main dining room and our party of three was greeted by a friendly server.

I ordered the Eddie Melt which came with a half lb patty with hot pastrami, grilled onions, their home made cheese sauce and their burger sauce.  It was supposed to be served on rye but I substituted it with grilled sour dough.  My sandwich was very delicious.  The beef patty was fresh and seasoned well.  The grilled onions were still firm and not soggy and the cheese sauce was really good.

The one cool thing about Eddie Papa's is that they serve you a small bowl of grape flavored cotton candy when they bring you the check!

Over all good food, good service and I wouldn't mind coming back here if I'm in the neighborhood!

I was really disappointed with this location.  When I first walked in I noticed a heavy smell of bleach or cleaning solution (I guess its better than smelling vomit) but it was way overwhelming.  I proceeded to order a regular glazed donut and a cup of coffee.  First the Donut did not taste fresh and the coffee was blah.  

When I was in Boston I loved Dunkin Donuts but this location was sub par.

I love their slogan "A student union for adults".

We actually found Cafe Papachou via our Yelp Iphone app.  We saw that it had lots or reviews and was rated pretty high.  Luckily, this Cafe Patachous was just steps outside our hotel.  We came here for breakfast and the place was packed.  We came at just the right time because anyone who came after us had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes.  Our waitress was super friendly and checked up on us regularly with out being annoying.  

The food it self was awesome!  I had the broken yolk sandwich with bacon and avocado.  Yes, I can make this at home but there just something about this sandwich which made it really good.  My wife had the croissant french toast and i have to say it was amazing!  It was sweet enough were no additional maple syrup was needed.  The candied pecans on to was Delicious also.  I like how Cafe Patachou serves up a side a fresh fruit rather than your traditional hash browns.

Another cool aspect of this place is that coffee is self served.  I was shocked to see that a cup of coffee was $2.95 a cup but after tasting it I know why.  It was strong coffee and was delicious!

Come check this place out if you are here for a conference.  Great food, decent prices and good service

After seeing the movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle I had to stop by and see what these little burgers were all about.  I also saw a food channel segment on White Castle and it showed how all the little burgers were made so I had to try one.  

I ordered the 4 burger meal and it came with a crinkle fries and a drink.  I have to say that I though 4 mini burgers would not be enough for me but I was actually full after eating my meal.  The little burgers were really tasty and the grilled onions make a huge difference.  I also like the fact that the buns are steamed and are soft and warm.

Definitely will be back if I'm ever in town again.

They need to open a Chick-Fil-A in California!  

I had the regular chicken sandwich and an order of chicken strips.  The chicken was so moist, tender and juicy. The chicken is perfectly coated in just the right amount of batter where its crispy outside and moist in the middle.

One word:  Yum

This is the place to go if you are traveling to Indy and forget to pack something.  I forgot to pack my tie on my trip to Indy and went down to the hotel gift shop to see if they had ties.  They did and they were $25 for a poor quality tie.  I went to TJ Maxx and picked up a nice Kenneth Cole tie for $11.99!  

This is a great place to pick name brand products and a serious discounted price.

The Capitol and Government building was really nice.  I loved the whole canal system behind the building and how everything is connected.  Great place to take a stroll and take in some great scenery.

A great place to kill some time if you're visiting Indy and staying down town.  Lots of shops and huge food court.  

I liked how they had a "Rejuvenation Station" where they have couches for you to chill on while your lady shops.

I had forgotten how great Buca Di Beppo is until I recently came here.  Yes there are Buca Di Beppo's in California and we had a friend with us who had never tried it so we stopped in for dinner.  The wait was about 30-40 minutes so we made our way into the bar for some drinks.  The bar was pretty much empty so we sat down, enjoyed a few drinks and decided to order an appetizer because were starved and had just flown into Indy.  We got to talking to the bar tender "Joe" and he gave us a few pointers on places to check out and to eat while in Indy.  He was so friendly and fun to talk to.  

We were seated after about 40 minutes and ordered our meals.  We had the chicken stuffed with prosciutto and a sample platter of stuff shells, cannelloni, and penne.  Everything was delicious and service was great.  Definitely recommend coming here to Buca Di Beppo!
