It's not often that something happens that blows you away and makes you think for a minute. When I went here last week with a co-worker to buy something we didn't have enough cash on us and the credit card machine was down for end of day processing. Instead of telling us that we couldn't buy food, we were told to come back and pay the next day. The amount was written down on a piece of paper and we were told that "the people that work in this neighborhood are good people that you can trust". I have never experienced this sort of service before. My faith in humanity is restored! I'm definitely a loyal customer and really pleased with my experiences so far. A great place for a hearty meal or quick bite to eat.

By the way, we did go back and pay the next day...

I went in last Friday to get a massage with the hope of getting rid of some back pain. I was surprised that I could get an appointment with such short notice and was able to make it in at the end of the day. I met with Po and got an hour massage. This was an intense massage but one of the best that I've ever received. The whole place is very professional and she was thorough. I'll definitely go back in the future and look into their packages.

This is my FAVORITE place in Chinatown. I used to eat lunch here all the time when I worked in Dowtown Crossing. Today I had opportunity to have lunch here on my way back from a meeting after what's probably been over 4 years. I was amazed, the owner remembered me and said she hadn't seen me in a while. Crazy! The food of course was as amazing as I had remembered. First time here? Chicken with garlic sauce all the way. The service was also amazing. I always feel like I am visiting a friend when I eat here.

I love this place. I'm sad that I haven't gone in a long time. I used to work downtown and Chinese on Friday was a tradition. One day when we decided to change restaurants we found this gem of Boston! It's not a big place, but where it lacks in size it makes up in quality.

It's been mentioned before, but the service and friendless of the staff is amazing. The same woman took care of us each time we went there and offered to make us special dishes if the menu didn't suit us. She even remembered what we ordered regularly after the second week!

I recommend the garlic chicken. This is a great place to go for a lunch at a great price with great service. I almost didn't want to post anything about this restaurant so I could keep it all to my self. I'm sure there will be many more reviews pointing out how great the Rainbow Cafe is.

When I moved to the South End over 5 years ago I couldn't have guessed how lucky I would be with all of the restaurant choices there are today. Teranga is another example of great food and service. They've made it through some of the opening headaches such as timing and consistency issues that I experienced during my first couple of visits. I really love the Yucca fries, the Kibbe (sp?) and the bread and oil dip that is given before the meal.

This place is rather small which is nice as it feels more homey. Great friendly service which isn't stuffy. I imagine this would be a great place for an after work party or get together with friends.

Really great lunch special with Pizza (it has gotten way better). The service is really friendly and quick. I go here about once a week as I live and work right around the corner. It's always nice to have a neighborhood place with great decent and well priced food.

I live right around the corner from this place so it's a good place for me when I'm feeling lazy. I admit the pizza is not the best and a bit greasy although I recommend the BBQ tips dinner. It's a great value and tastes really good.

The guys that work here are very friendly and you can strike up a conversation with some of them when they aren't too busy. They must made bank to be able to afford the massive plasma TV that they mounted on the wall during their recent renovations.

I've been here twice. Overall I find the place energetic and fairly welcoming. The whole gatekeeper at the door thing was a bit off putting. The back bars are not THAT crowded. The food and drinks here are pretty good. I'd recommend this place for groups small or large. I hope I get to go back soon.

Amazing food, great service and Trivia on Thursdays. This was the unexpected outcome of last Thursday when I went out for dinner with my sister. I had seen this restaurant around for a while and never ventured in. With the year coming to a close this seemed like a worthwhile choice and one I'm glad we made. I haven't had Indian food this good since living in London. Can't wait to go back again.

I just ate here last night for my birthday. After a long day at work and a series of delays getting there, I was able sit down and eat with my family.

The food was pretty good especially the dessert (bread pudding), but it was the service that made this night memorable. Our server (the ticket said Brendan) was a cook for a year here before working the floor. He was more attentive than any server I have had in long time. My parents and sister also really enjoyed their meals and the service. The service alone will have me coming back for what I hope is an equally enjoyable experience.

I ate here last night for a friend's birthday dinner. I was blown away by the friendly service and amazing food and how smoothly everything went despite the fact that we had a large group. I had never been here before but Mother Anna's is definitely now on my list of top Italian places in Boston.

This is the place to go for an authentic Spanish menu with reasonable sized portions. I've lived in the South End for years and was happy to find another tapas restaurant in the area.

The food was good, service friendly and outdoor seating fun for a perfect summer evening. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and were pleasantly surprised with the selection.

I'll be back for sure to check out the inside and enjoy some good food and hopefully a pitcher of sangria.
