Ike is this random but chill dude in a suit and tie at a mailing/shipping spot I'm assuming he owns and charges me 50+ dollars for shipping an envelope to the Philippines. Nice cat and I dug the R&B music while I was awaiting service but the rates just didn't swag in the surf.

3 pitchers of Hoppy Brewed beer with 3 other people and I was good...a few hours later asleep! Beer appetizers didn't hurt as well. I like this location though and found it very chill and clean.

The sandwiches reminds me of those at a deli in some foreign land; I am dreaming of quenching my appetite on a warm early afternoon with no plans but spontaneity... wtf am I writing...

Critical question: Would you go as the Last Samurai or Karate Kid? However if you do go again and decide to stroll please try the TEA! For some reason it feels a whole lot more fulfilling drinking tea in a Japanese tea garden than anywhere else.

Bomb ass venue; excellent performances. I went to go watch Miguel here and even the pre-acts were cool. The music quality is decent. Plus sides have to go on space, location is away from the main streets for accessible parking especially in DT (entrance was in alley way), and the music selection is thumbs up.

Big ups on the filling my Jack & Coke with 70% whiskey, providing a table for me and my buddies, and no cover.

You would think a wait/line for a bar is foolish but it was rather more of an effective crowd controller. Beware high volumes of douches/yuppies again lol. J.C. says it more eloquently... "This place takes everything I fucking hate about the Marina and puts it in a nice little concentrated space of douchebag."

I would like to give this 4* but considering the type of place, people, area it's in I'd rather not.

On a few occasions I've stopped by here before and had a drink or two with friends but just last weekend I discovered that there is dance floor in the back. The music is mostly top 40/house but I felt like this small-midsize room was filled to over-capacity. It's mostly yuppies (the richer form of a hipster), which being in the Marina/lower-PacHeights, not a surprise. Unfortunately not a good thing. And while the scene is lively here this is not necessarily a place I would find myself going to just because. You would understand too if you grew up in a neighborhood that outsiders infiltrated and changed the culture/scenery of some of your early memories. Not only do yuppies think they own whatever they inhabit but they destroy culture. LOL

The one thing I can appreciate here is kickin it with friends and getting free hookups on drinks because the bartender was a friend of a friend. Yee

A big disappointment in terms of Japanese restaurant houses.

I dropped by here for lunch the other day having not tried this particular location. From the outside it looks like an authentic "classicly" cultured spot for sushi dining and lounging.

The food was bland. The combination meals/bento box I ordered with Gyoza (which is this Jap. fried dumplings) & California rolls was nothing more than a single plate with everything mashed together with generic vegetables and taste quality. The sushi tasted like it was bought from a local groceries. And I appreciated the tea but no water served first?

I could have gone to a buffet and enjoyed more food but this place has a nice setting/theme to it, therefore 2 stars.

Redbox here is very convenient but they really need to update their library. There's been released a lot of new titles that aren't at this location. Blah face.

This place, which used to be Albertsons, is a very helpful and convenient location. They have almost everything in this plaza full of other places. They also have these self-check out counters which are much faster if you have a few items... lines can be long during the busy hours. I also went tonight to get some ice cream and they had... PISTACHIO! I can't find this anywhere and they didn't have this when Albertsons was in effect. Good prices for most of the products too. Safe area but impersonal staff.

One of the BEST burrito/taco trucks in the Bay Area.

This is some cutty ish I shouldn't even be spilling but I guess I'm kind enough to share. Because I was pretty skeptical at first hearing people travel far just to get a burrito here; yeah I tried it and I can't tell you otherwise. Very bomb with a Starbucks passion tea lemonade too.
