I come from San Diego and can be particular about Mexican food.  This place is awesome.  The lady is super friendly - always addressing you as "my friend".  The burritos are huge.  There is some kind of sauce in there that has a great flavor - and she cooks it so carefully, turning it to get a golden brown on all sides.  Go there - but call ahead because there's usually a line and it's kind of weird to hang out in a gas station for 15 minutes waiting for the food to be ready.

After a long walk that ended at the Aquarium, I took my date to dinner at Tia's .  She had the salmon salad, which looked quite good, and I really enoyed the salmon entree.  The food tasted great, but it wasn't really cheap either.  Sat on the patio, but had to be trapped behind some plastic since it was too cold.  Strangely, they served my water in a plastic cup... The waiter was kind enough to inform me that a bottle of wine has four glasses in it - WOW who knew?  Looked like a happening bar on the other side, but didn't really check it out.

The only real problem was the lack of decent conversation, but I don't think that was Tia's fault.

I went here for Brunch this morning and had a great time.  Sitting out on the patio when the weather is nice cannot be beat.  Food was good, but it is hard to mess up 3 eggs, potatoes and sausage.  Overall, atmosphere wins it, and breakfast for two cost me less than $30.

Awesome Pork Chop.  Have some patience and a beer when trying to get a table though.

Love it.  Great value.  Good Kebab.  Great atmosphere.  Friendly, attractive waitresses that dance if you're their past 11:00 on Saturday ;)
