Holy Jambalaya pasta batman! Woah...i went up for seconds!!! Ain't gonna lie, those sliders were FIRE too! Kudos to the culinary design team on the buffet spread. Candice you ROCK and great job.

The button order systems was clever, I sort of didn't wanna give up my button cause I wanted to wear it. However the thirst was inevitable and eventually won.

After a previous night of partying I felt the sudden urge to repay a dining favor. You see I owed my fellow yelper (Kyle B) an afternoon lunch. So he answered my texted and suggest DMK Burger in the burbs...I was like...I'M DOWN!

VAAAAAROOOOOOM....ERRRRR! Door opens, the K Bizzle jumps in my cream puff caddy.

Unfortunately the right side of the door entering DMK was broken and locked. So we immediately thought they were closed. We quickly turned to our mobile yelp app for answers like a magic 8-ball hoping to find the hours of operation.

Turns out management and staff are all leftys, hence why the right side of the door was locked. Oh well, lets move on.

We were greeted with a young and hip looking staff. A few empty chairs at the bar caught our attention and presto....we meet Andy the bartender. Lets go on record that Mr Andy can whip up just about anything you desire with a flair of flavor that will have you glued to your seat. For example, I told him I never in my life had a tasty Bloody Mary. Andy was up for the challenge and he did NOT fail. That was one spicy bloody mary, I so eloquently renamed "The Bloody Andy".

A few Allagash Whites into my delicious BIG SALAD w/ chicken prompt me for a follow up drink. I went miami vice Havana style. An original mojito sweet went down like cold water during a hot summer day. Since the bar is located fairly close to the hostess station we were able to make great conversation with the staff. Such a friendly bunch, didn't get their names with the exception of the Emma Stone look-a-like Ms. Felicia.

As always DMK your burgers are outstanding and that chili brisket is most memorable! Good work and we easily spent 3 plus hours in the DMK utopia. Sunday Funday!

What a superb daycare it was today. My 7 month old Huskey/Pit mix is passed out on my kitchen floor. THANK YOU DOGGIE DEPOT. Yes my little 4 legged ball of energy is a tornado and boy did Doggie Depot step up to the challenge.

As I am typing this review he has now moved to the living room to lay on his cushion, it must be the key strokes keeping him awake.

I look forward to many more playful visit with long naps after pickup. A total P90X paradise for dogs.

For those with inquiring minds, yes their daycare rates are VERY reasonable.

I will admit I have known about this location for quite some time. I am mad at myself for taking such a long time to finally dine in. Immediately upon entering the door I was greeted, no waiting, no lines the host was friendly.  I love the fact the server leaves the water craft and coffee on the table, I am in total control of my refills. Oh and great up sell on your caramel coffee of the day mister server, your energy sold me on it.

I ordered the ulitmate skillet with ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomato.
Topped with just the appropiate amount of jack and cheddar cheese. This all rested on a bed of seasoned harbor potatoes....superb!!!

Most breakfast places ask you if you would like Toast or Pancakes with your skillet. I was impressed that my server read my mind and suggested the English Muffin. Oh yeah bring it! The english muffin came buttered and with a side of jelly for dipping. That's right I said dipping, none of that on the table and peal back condiment jelly. It was fresh.

Quick service with a dynamite vibe is why I will be back more often. Oh and if you don't like eggs with your skillet, fresh fruit may be substituted.

Not to shabby! Stav is a fast casual dining vibe and clean. The Chicken Kabob served with rice pilaf, pita bread and soup was plenty for the money. The homemade chicken with rice soup was superb! The staff was friendly and at no means rushed me as I pondered the menu for a bit. I wish Stav's was closer to Downers Grove because believe me I would be "The Duke" in a heart beat....LOL!

The building sort of reminds me if it could have once been the home of a Wendy's. I like the fact there is a drive-thru for easy pick-up orders.

Small and simple fast food diner. Was a tad dissappointed that they do not carry a grilled chicken breast on the menu. Instead I ordered the Tuna on Pita with lettuce and tomato. The sandwich was fully loaded and decent. Make sure to have plenty of napkins on standby, the tuna gets a little drippy. Oh and their is no public restrooms whether you are a paying customer or not. That sucks :(

KABABS are the KA-BOMB! Yes I said it. The Chicken Breast Kabob plate char-grilled white meat is so tender and juicy you would want to stop time to savor every bite. I didn't realize it came with 2 sides until the cashier mentioned it. The basmati rice is great and traditional however their homemade fries is what stood out. Crispy chip like homemade fries lightly salted was a great side to dip into the tahini sauce.

OMG! The pita bread is in a class of its own, seriously fluffy and soft. My meal and drink with tax was just under $16, but I know I indulged in quality and that is what matters most.

Now its going on almost 3 years since I started eating here. Chicken Shawarma is still the best since day 1. Finally I gave in and tried the hummus and it was delicious. Now that the winter is settling in the homemade lentil soup is a great starter to any meal. To the kitchen staff whom gets my order perfect every single time I thank you.

I have only visited Charcoal Delights twice. Both times I ordered the Charcoal Broiled Chicken on Pita. Seriously, the charcoal cooking brings the flavor to maximum overdrive!  Obviously this is an old school way of cooking and rare to find. The wait time is quick and the food runners bring everything to you. Staff is super friendly and will even make suggestions if you are undecided on what to order.

Plenty of parking and if you are lazy, they have a drive thru too :)

My fellow yelper Candice G. you had me at your 29 check-ins. Because if its good for Candy girl its good for me.

Lucky me I walked in at 1:30pm and still within 1-hour of their daily special that runs 11:30am-2:30pm. I absolutely loved the chicken rice soup of the day with veggies. Followed by a 2 piece seasoned crab rangoon. Lastly my main lunch dish, the Pad Thai with Chicken.

I really enjoyed my visit and the food was prepared with just enough spice. I am 100% on board for another visit.
