What a very diverse and interesting menu! From the moment you walk in the door the service was exceptional. We were lucky and were seated at the windows (great people wathcing).
They provided a very good potato chip (similar to the Terra chips) that were unique and delicious.
The wine was good and they give you a very generous pour!!
The dinner was delicious, my friend had the green curry, which was excellent and I had the spicy curry noodles with shrimp and pork also dynamite.
The music was good but a bit loud to make for easy conversation.

I have gone past this place so many times when friends wanted to go we jumped at the chance to give this place a try. This history, menu and services were terrific.
There was four of us for dinner and unfortunatley two of the four decided to have the eggplant parmesian. They both regretted their decision later that evening.
I will say that two of us quite enjoyed our meals but the experience was a bit lack luster and when great friends and loved ones don't have a good experience it tarnishes the visit. With so many wonderful places to go in Chicago I hate to say but this is one worth crossing off your list.

When you think of Pizza in Chicago most people don't think of a pizza fired in an open oven.
The first time you walk in the door you can feel the warmth and smell of bread, yum. The potato rosemary pizza is comfort food at it's best. The crust is nice and think and crispy and puffy and oh so good.
The only reason this doesn't score as a 5 for me is the consistency. When I started going it was out of this world and the last few times it doesn't seem to be the same.

Joy's is a little slice of heaven! It seems like lately we've been a bit lazy and are getting delivery over sitting down and having a meal. Either way the Spicy Chilli Noodles are out of this world. I can't seem to venture out and order anything else. Now whenever my friends are over we all get the same dish.
Imagine a delicious wide noodle covered in spicy sauce dancing on your tongue. I seriously can't get enough of this place. It's actually feels like a guilty pleasure.
Another item worth going for on its own are the pot stickers. The thick and rich seasame sauce (that is on the side) is like liquid gold.
A friend of mine turned me on to this place after she disclosed it was her ongoing Sunday meal. She is a fan of the Pad Thai!

There really is no way to capture how good this place is in words. The Cortado is my drink of choice and the complex almost nutty flavor is incredible. They only sell their coffee by 1/2 and full pound because they want you to have the freshest coffee experience at the store and at home.
What's impressive is they have received offers to make larger batches but stay true to their roots and only roast small batches. What's not to love about integridy!
The atmosphere is very causual and relaxed, quite honestly you should stop what your doing and go now! If you lucky enough to get there when they still have some pastry's do yourself a favor and endulge.

Are you looking for a laid back and relaxed atmoshpere? What really stands out to me is that you are never rushed. Quite honestly it feels like your in a European cafe.

Hello Sushi Bar and Thai Cuisine

We were delightfully surprised to find such a great place on the run. After hoping on groupon to find a "Deal Now" there was no question Hello Sushi was at the top of our list. The Pad Thai was exceptional and the sushi rolls were a fun change of pace. Our favorite of the 3 terrific rolls we tried was the Jeepers Creepers.

If you haven't been to Wally & Agador's you are missing out. They have some of the most creative and delicious sandwiches around (I really love "The Divine Miss M"). If you are in the mood to really treat yourself try the "Agador".

We had a really great time chatting with the people at the different wine stations. Everyone had a fun and upbeat personality and a good knowledge of the wines.
Everything we tasted was $24.00 and under a bottle and the groupon got us a full bottle at the end of the tasting. A fun and casual evening in a great atmosphere.
