RoRo's is my favorite place in Seattle to  grab a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. There's several amazing things about this place:

1. Amazing beer selection (lots of local brews!)
2. Outdoor seating
3. Many different types of sandwiches to choose from
4. Lots of side dishes (but my favorite is the Mac and Cheese!)
5. So many different sauces to try with your sandwich!

I love this place and we always have great service!

I came here for dinner over the holidays with my in-laws and husband. We wanted to treat them to a culinary experience much like the ones we frequent out in Seattle. This place definitly met the bar. We ordered a half plate of all the dishes (but a full plate of the Lamb). This was the perfect amount for 4 people.

The squid ink rissoto was my favorite along with the lamb and duck confit coming in at a close second. The menu here is constantly rotating through the freshest localy ingredients and obviously what's in season so if you check out the menu online, note that it won't be radically different, but it might not be exactly what you see.

You can take the T to Central Square and then walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) down the street. Definitly go to Bondir if you're looking for some amazing food!

Absolutely love this BBQ! They have amazing BBQ sandwiches and great beer on tap. The service is always super quick and very friendly. In the summer you can also sit outside on the street lined picnic tables!

If you're looking for a BBQ fix be sure to stop by there, you won't be disappointed!

We used Frogbox for our recent move from a condo to a townhouse and they were perfect for the move. We saved a lot of money compared to buying boxes and the clean up was a breeze since all you have to do is unpack and stack.

The Frogbox guy who delivered and picked up our boxes was very professional and always arrived on time. My moving tip is to rent at least one more wardrobe box than you think you need. You'll be happy you did!

Also, check for coupons/discounts online before booking!

I recently stopped in for breakfast this week with my husband. We were impressed by the huge list of breakfast egg dishes and definitely had a hard time picking one out. We noticed the great selection of microbrews while waiting for our breakfast and we'll definitely be back to try out some dinner and grab a drink.

Our meals were so delicious and the service was great. I'd come back here in a heartbeat!

Can't Stop Moving moved us into our new townhouse a week ago. Alex who I worked with over email to plan and schedule the move was very responsive and answered all my particular questions about the move. He estimated it would take 5 hours to move from our condo into the townhouse.

The movers were done in just about 3 hours and literally did not stop moving. The 3 guys were so efficient in their trips up and down the stairs and also in packing their van. All our furniture and things arrived in perfect condition unlike in past moves (not with Can't Stop Moving) where several things had been damaged.

I would hire them again in a heartbeat and also recommend them to my friends. Be sure to pay with cash to get the 10% discount! Thanks for making our moving day so easy!

Update - 9/2/2011 3 photos
It's about time I updated this review since their opening back in June of 2009. I recently stopped in again a week ago and was super impressed with the urban beer garden! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Wandering Wheat, awesome summer/wheat beer!

The urban beer garden has a lot of room for everyone and their friends and the free pretzels are great for enjoying with your beers. It's a bummer that you can't get all the tapped beers to-go in a growler, but I understand. I can't wait to spend more time in the beer garden especially since we'll be moving just a few blocks away!

We visited Fremont Brewing yesterday for a WABL (Washington Assoc. of Beer Lover's) event.  They are a small, family owned, organic brewery.  Everything they do here is "green" and environmentally friendly.

They served us their Universale Pale Ale on tap, which was cloudy in color and not too hoppy.  I really enjoyed our visit and hearing first hand from the head brewer about their history and future plans.  They plan to build a loft style tasting room overlooking the brewing equipment which I think will be a nice touch to the tour/tasting experience.  For now, they run tours in the evening so call ahead to find out the tour schedule.

I think this location and brewery has great potential. I can't wait to see what the tap room will look like and what other beers they will have on tap!

Osprey Rafting Co.

When picking a rafting company for my friends and I, I found all the other rafting companies that left out of or near Leavenworth had a lot more reviews on Yelp. In the end after a lot of research, I chose Osprey based on the sole fact that one of our friends had been before with them and had a great time.

Osprey - you guys need to get more people to write reviews about their experiences!

Anyway, I booked our trip over the phone and paid in full for the 6 of us. I asked about the logistics of a few things that weren't completely clear on the website. We arrived on the day of and quickly got checked in and suited up. We wore wet suits, splash guards (since it was a chilly day), and life preservers. After everyone arrived we were off into the bus to be transported into the drop point. We did the Class III Main Event trip and it was about a 15-20 minute ride to the drop in point. Our guide was pretty fun all down the river, except when almost all of us were thrown out of our raft on the last rapid. It was pretty darn cold in the water and a bit scary. Everyone managed to get back into the raft very quickly and we were on our way.

The end of the trip ended at Huck's Landing where there was a delicious BBQ waiting for us. Reco for others: bring warm clothes for after your trip even if it's sunny out. We were sure the sun was going to come out but it didn't until we got back to Leavenworth. It was cold at the BBQ even with the bonfire they had going.

All in all, I'd take another rafting trip with Osprey. Thanks for a memorable trip down the Wenatchee!

I was going to review this place with 3 stars and then I remembered that it's a much better place to grab some beers and snacks than the Munich Haus which is always sooooo crowded. We stopped in after a morning of rafting down the Wenatchee and needed some cold beers to go with the ice cold water we had just been thrown into. Most of us enjoyed their sampler which had some delicious beers and other ordered a few schooner sizes.

I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Yes, it's small, but it's a much better place to drink a few beers on a warm day than elsewhere in Leavenworth.

I stopped in here with my friends on the way to a camping trip at Lake Wenatchee for some dinner. We were pretty much the only ones in there. This place could benefit from a few more beers on tap, more than just those plain old Bud taps, but I'll forgive them.

Our meals were quite delicious and I recommend getting the Philly cheese steak, which was filled with real melted cheese and peppers and onions. Our server split up our orders among couples, which was very much appreciated and we were on our way for just under $25 per couple, what a deal.
