Very cute little local hole in the wall spot! I had the Tomato Basil Omelette, very yummy, and the Mushroom Soup is also splendid. Can get crowded, so you may want to call ahead for reservations during the busy weekend brunch rush.

Love, love, love the Art...my very favorite movie theatre (the Bay Theatre in Seal Beach is a close 2nd)! Friendly local vibe, beautiful storefront and interior, cool staff, cozy little popcorn lobby, awesome selection of indie flicks, and excellent adjacent sidewalk coffee and wine bars, and also great eateries and shops right across the street. Best of all, I love being able to walk there, or hop on the Passport down 4th St.! Another local LB treasure!

Found myself in the L.A. Mall after taking care of some business downtown and stopped in for a very late lunch/early dinner bite. Most of the other eateries were already closing, but Cal Pita was still open. My gyros plate was made to order exactly like I asked, and very tasty, and their other items looked equally good. Nice, clean atmosphere inside, and I found it to be a very good alternative to all the fast food eateries. I would definitely return if I ever find myself in the area again.

Can't believe it's taken me so long to pay a visit to this fine eatery! I've been hearing great things about it, and actually just live a few blocks away, and finally made the trip and I'm sure I will now be a regular. Super tasty entrees (I had the Classic Tuna Melt, but am looking forward to sampling just about everything on the menu eventually), very friendly and helpful servers, great atmosphere, and a wonderful tea selection. A perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and for vegetarians, they have a nice little section of their menu devoted to you as well.

Can't believe how long I've lived in Long Beach yet never experienced the Stroll & Savor! Until this past week! So great, and so much food...no matter what your tastes, you won't be disappointed for the $10 you'll spend for 12 coupons, which feeds one adult quite well. I ended up going both days (they usually hold them two weekday evenings a month during the summer), as I found one evening wasn't quite enough to get through all the eateries. Everything I had was very yummy, but for the best deal for the coupons, I would say it would have to be George's Greek Cafe...a full plate of food for just three coupons! In comparison, a mini Pinkberry with one topping is also three coupons. Another suggestion...get there early before the lines start to grow (altho the George's line is long from the start because of the great deal they offer), and wear comfortable walking shoes for all the strolling and standing while savoring. Alas, I think this week was the last two of this summer, so you will have to wait til next summer to experience this local Long Beach tradition, but it's worth the wait!

I see there a some negative reviews of this place, but I've always had a good experience. I especially like the fish tacos, and the white rice. Not as authentic as some of the hole in the wall Mexican places in Long Beach, but still pretty good, with a nice outdoor patio, and a few steps from the pier and strand to walk off your meal.

Pretty extensive menu, and a very tasty phad thai shrimp dish! And cute little dine-in area too, with a great lunch special from 11am - 2:30pm.

One of my favorite local hole in the wall mexican food places in long beach, with a walk up window off the sidewalk. The taquitos plate is very yummy, and I love the chips and salsa. Not a lot of room for sit-down dining, better for take out.
