I have never done acupuncture before, but after spraining my wrist and having it be in pain for a couple weeks, I sought out the advice of my friends on Facebook. More than a few people had recommended Elements Total Health center as the place to go, and I didn't even consider acupuncture as an option. I've been a western medicine medicine guy my whole life, but I figured I would give it a shot since recommendations from my friends and it was covered by my insurance.
So I tried it out, and was not disappointed. After two sessions, my wrist felt much better than it had trying two wait two weeks and thinking it would recover on its own. It's also relaxing which I can't really say for most doctor/hospital visits.
