Unfortunately Outback Steakhouse, as company policy, does not allow holders of licensed concealed firearms to eat in their establishments. This is certainly their right as property owner, but it does mean that Outback Steakhouses are now to be considered a guaranteed "no one will resist" zone for any wacko. I'll go elsewhere.

Chris Stough, the owner of Dawson's, is an excellent craftsman. His work on both our hardwood and our ceramic tile floors was excellent, with good attention to detail. As a bonus, his prices are also quite reasonable.

When I couldn't get ahold of my previous plumber, I checked with the BBB and found that Dan's was the only plumbing service in the immediate area that was both a long-time member and had no complaints filed.

I needed to replace my older, cheap water heater. It was installed in the back of a closet, and was an odd size. Dan came up with a modern, higher capacity model that fit the space, and installed it complete with an emergency water cut-off valve.

Later I asked him to look at one of the toilets which wouldn't flow easily. I thought it was a piping problem in the drain system. They checked it out thoroughly, and discovered that the problem was in the toilet, itself. The previous owners of the house had dropped something metal into the toilet and it had jammed in so thoroughly it couldn't be removed. Dan's installed a new Kohler, of much better quality than the old toilet. It works great.

My only complaints are that they did not caulk the bottom of the toilet where it sits on the tile, and they did not leave the manual for the toilet. I learned at Kohler's website that it is a water-saver model that flushes harder if the lever is held down a moment after pushing it down.

UPDATE: It is now almost two months later. Despite repeated requests, they still have not sent me the manual or even called back with the model number.

The toilet has developed a problem: it acts like it has a stuck flapper - the water runs for a short period, then the float slowly drops, then the water runs, then the float drops.... Unfortunately this model does not use a flapper, but some other kind of valve. Dan's said the valve is dirty and needs cleaning, and that this is not covered by warranty (even though this is a brand new toilet, purchased from them and that they installed).

Since I don't have the manual, I have contacted Kohler to see if we can determine the model number and get the information on cleaning the valve.

I have therefore reduced my rating from four to two stars.

An AirSoft specialist, ParaFrog stocks both the guns and all the accessories and supplies. The staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly.

Excellent! When we moved to TN I was concerned about finding a dentist as good as the one I had in NY. Dr. Martin, it turns out, used to work with my old dentist in the Army. How's that for a coincidence? Anyhow, he is a great dentist, and his staff is also very friendly and competent. Now if he could just find some other background music for his office....(grin). PS: His son Kevin, listed separately on Yelp but in the same office, is equally good.

We have hired Ed Williams (Mack) to do several jobs, ranging from installing a 40kv generator system to running 200 amp service to the workshop and wiring it's interior to changing out an overhead outdoor lamp assembly. He has always been very professional, very neat and precise in his workmanship, and reasonable on his prices. Recommended.

We hired this man to replace two drainage pipes under our driveway that were damaged by the moving van when we arrived. He gave us a figure, which seemed reasonable. He then spent over two weeks doing the job, and ended up with the new pipes not installed deep enough. One had to be replaced again 18 months later. (The second contractor accomplished that in much less than one day.) When Albright was done he told me that I owed him more than TWICE the original estimate, because "somebody had told him he should charge more."

He was fired from both his major jobs last year. I can't say much more until the lawsuit is done, other than RUN, don't walk! If Yelp allowed zero stars.....

Warranty One repairs lawn mowers and electrical generators. I called them to do the annual maintenance on my large Generac standby generator, which they did at a price much lower than that of the Generac dealer. The serviceman also made a suggestion on improving the reliability of the system, which was appreciated. The only difficulty was getting him here in the first place - it took over a month to schedule the appointment. Once scheduled, however, he arrived on time.
