greek pizza, not my favorite. subs are good, little on the pricey side, not my first choice for subs/pizza. i've never expeirneced great customer service while in there, a lot of room for improvement with a few smiles and some chit chat would be better.
good service, great food and drinks. good value.
we luckily found this spot after checking out of a terrible place. we rented the last cottage on the water front, and really really enjoyed our time there. the service was fab, and the camp was clean and had all that we needed to cook for ourselves, the beds weren't super comfy, but we were in a camp! they have activities for the kiddos, and had a small swing set as well. the food/drinks from the beach bar were great, we didn't eat at their restaurant. definitely was a nice place to stay ifyou like laconia.
scenic it's not, unless you want to look at peoples houses, this train travels right through peoples back yards. there were a few good "views" of the lake, but nothing i coudn't have seen from the road! don't waste your time/money on this if you are looking for scenery, if the kiddo's love trains, maybe worth it, but my little man, didn't seem over enthused by it.

this place has the most delicious ice cream i've tasted, make your own sundae bar was a hit, and shopping for trinket toys made the kiddo's pleased.
so we had no idea where to stay, so i didn't know yelp at the time, and even as of now, i don't see this place has a review!
here's the deal, stay away from this place! We selected it b/c it had a
gym (not really, it's only a few pieces of equipment), an indoor pool, very heavily chlorinated, and an outdoor pool (across the street from main building) and pool towels the size of hand towels!
buffet breakfast had spoiled milk and no jucie available, we even asked them to grab a gallon from the "bar" and they wouldn't oblige, i love my juice in the am. the food from the kitchen that we ordered at beach bar took over 1 hour to get to us and was cold, we didn't dare send it back, b/c our two young children were starving, after waiting sooo long. Our room was dirty/smelly and look like hadn't been redone since the 70's. We were booked in for 5 days, but checked out after the first night. the management wasn't that friendly when we presented them with all our issues. It may sound like we are hard to please, but they marketed themselves as a "RESORT", not even close! we headed over to the naswa to finish our laconia vacation, we won't probably ever go back to laconia, it was one of the worst vacations weeks we spent. Not too much to do with the kids that was super fun, just all campy cliche stuff. you can spend one over night there and accomplish all the sights in a day and a half.

I had the extreme pleasure of dining here over the weekend. It was for a bday party of 15. We didn't wait to be seated, we didn't wait for bread or water, we didn't wait for our salads, apps, nothing, service was fast, efficient and pleasant. The atomosphere was charming and nice. The food was really great, i half expected "wedding" style chicken, but this seemed made to order in small batches! we tried the sausage and pepers, chix pesto, beef braciolla, and ravioli. My only slight complaint was that the caprese salad didn't have any basil and the tomatoes were on the unripened side, i think they used large beefsteak tomatoes. the pasta definitely tasted homemade and look forward to checking out that resaturant with just me and the honey to try other menu selections.
btw, the tiaramisu was faaaaab!
also, with the family style they were packing up ample left overs and would have accomadated wrapping up several different portions, based on who wanted to take what home! great job!

have the pleasure of experiencing scola's for at least 8 years now. Alwasys great food, large portions, always leave with left overs. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is extensive, and the special are rotated alot. It's alwasy clean in there, and the wait staff have been consistenly attentive and pleasant. Some of my favorites, Haddock Margherita, Marco Pollo, Chix Parm, marsala, appetizers, i had a great asiago shirmp and crostini. They also do a great job on martinis! They have live entertainment on weekends and have a private back room. We have also used them for catereing and they had our food nicely presented on platters ready to serve. I have also ordered take out, and have gotten there family style trays which feed our family of four and have 2 extra servings of leftovers. One and only flaw, i have ordered take out before the containers they use weren't deep enough to prevent some leaking, but if you have a saucy dish just ask them to wrap it in cellophane. I'm a huge fan of this place~

Service was disorganized, we ordered sparkling water and they kept coming over with tap to refill our glasses. We ordered a bottle of white and one man took away our wind glasses and shen our waitress returned she was wondering where they went. menu limited (not sure why ), my tomatoe/moz salad had mushy wrinkly skin tomatoes and hardly any basil. Bread presentation was blah, oil was provided but no herbs or Parmasean. I ordered a $26 beef dish which came with a small lump of potatoes(bland) and the 8 pieces of beef were placed on the potatoes so they tasted the same as the beef. Seeing that all three of us girls who dined together cleared off our plates ( no we arent at all overweight ) the portions were tiny for the price. If u want to waste ur money go here.
