I agree with Emily C for the most part - there's a lot of potential here for some great community confluence amongst gamers and the like to be had here, if said community keeps the support steady.
The inventory is currently low, but after speaking with the owner I would say it will double at the very least as he finds out what people are looking for. For now, there's mostly board/card games - Settlers of Cataan, Munchkins, Magic the Gathering, etc., as well as gaming dice (Chessex). There are currently only a handful of RPG titles (4ed D&D), but this *will change* - I threw in a request for Shadowrun and Call of Cthulhu. There's also strong interest in getting used stuff for either cash or trade as well, which will be excellent to see.
The gaming area upstairs is small, but honestly I'm happy about that - it's more intimate without feeling cut-off from the world. I could totally see hosting a game up there some evening - he's considering doing some vending, water/juice/snacks for hungry gamers, though there's plenty of good food options around already.
I dig the overall minimalist decor - feels spacey, almost like the inside of a mod-70s UFO. They'll likely start putting more stuff up soon, though.
I'll be visiting/keeping a close eye on this place. I would really love to see them thrive - the whole notion of having a gaming store within walking distance thrills me to no end, especially given how connected with the community they're looking to be.

Solid menu, and the staff was extremely nice. They only have one highchair at the moment, but I can't imagine they won't buy more soon - families with kids were their sole clientele when we were there, and the place packed up quickly at dinner.
They appear to have worked out the heat and smoke issues that the previous reviewer mentioned (at least the night we were there, 1/22/2011).
