I can't speak to the food at Agua Verde but I had an awesome first time kayak experience here, and I definitely intend to return.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the kayak was in good condition, the wait was minimal (unlike the restaurant, apparently), and the location is fantastic. You can head east over to the Arboretum and Lake Washington or West to Lake Union and Gasworks park. In either case you're only about 30 minutes of paddling away, and the water is wonderful on the way.
Finally, the price is right - it's only 15 dollars an hour to rent a kayak (18 for a double).
Four stars instead of five because while I mentioned that I was a first timer they didn't really provide much instruction (although maybe I just seemed confident and anxious to get out on the water). Still, very friendly, nice staff.

I had a great meal this weekend at Crush. The duck comfit was delicious, they have a nice selection of cocktails (the Bourbon Bliss was a great combination on flavors, like a slightly sweet Manhattan), the service was excellent, and I'm always happy when I can finish off a meal with a cheese plate for dessert.
There was a slight wait (~15 minutes) for our reservation, but I don't begrudge it, and I was just happy to get a Saturday reservation in the middle of the week.

We had the pork tenderloin, the baked brie, the mushroom raviolli (delicious), and the roasted banana split - all of which were excellent. The service was great, the chef is really accomodating (call ahead if you have a special request and they will make it happen - they're especially good with vegetarians), and the food is great.
Also, the outdoor seating is really nice - they have this great courtyard with these massive towering trees over it which is just really pleasant - if possible go on a nice night where you can sit outside.
