My Onkyo A/V receiver had a problem with it. They told me that Just Service was the only authorized repair shop in town. Save yourself the time and money and find another place. I took the receiver in, they called me the next day to say it was fixed. It wasn't. When I asked to take it back in they said they would have to charge me to take a second look at it and that I needed to read the manual. They treated me like I was a complete moron.

I then sent the unit to a place in Michigan and the unit came back fixed. The problem was broken capacitors. The Just Service squad refused to fix the problem or to even take a second look at it after they weren't able to fix it the first time. All of their signage in the store indicates they've been there since the 80s. I have no idea how they've managed to stay in business this long with such crappy service.

Oh, and then the kicker. When they saw I posted a crappy review for them at http://Yelp.com they called threatening to sue me. What a joke. I offered to take down the bad review if they would just take a second look and fix the receiver. They declined.

Save yourself the time and money and AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I like my small theaters as much as the next guy (Logan Theater, Davis Theatre) but in terms of delivering the "big screen, Hollywood" type of extravaganza, this theater beats most in my mind.  Taking the escalators up to the room with the huge mural is rad every time.  Screens are big and I've seen some digitally projected stuff here before, which is great.

I came to Ritz's on recommendation from a friend.  I live in Chicago which begs the question - why on earth would I drive all the way to DeKalb to get my car worked on?  Well, I've found it hard to find a mechanic I can trust in Chicago and one who is flexible enough to schedule something last-minute and won't care if I'm 30 minutes late or so.  Ritz's totally fit the bill.  Very affordable, the folks are nice and the work was great.  I'll be going here again if (God forbid) my car has more issues.

This is where I come for my seafood.  They have parking right out front and traffic in the area isn't too bad for the hours they're open.  As far as the quality of the seafood, what can I say?  They've definitely helped kick my home-cooked meals up a notch.  Freshest fish I've purchased in Chicago.

UPDATE: OK, these guys are the best ever.  I went in to get my oil change and had some other things going on with the car.  There was something leaking and the car had been making an unpleasant noise for some time.  I only asked for them to let me know if they notice what might be leaking.  They determined it was transmission fluid and filled me up FREE OF CHARGE.  Then as I'm on my way out one of the guys heard the rattling noise and said he could thought he could fix it.  I pulled around and 10 minutes later they had fixed the ratting.  FREE OF CHARGE.  These guys are the bomb.  Nuff said.

I came here while visiting family.  The fish fry was amazingly delicious and the service was good (after they figured out who was supposed to serve our table).  They were very accomodating, moving us from outdoors to indoors after many in the party thought it was too cold.  I ordered All-You-Can-Eat Cod but they were out of cod (oops).  Instead they gave me All-You-Can-Eat Perch.  Sweeeeet.  But this place doesn't have the brightest staff.  The table outside had these Christmas lights strung above each table.  The lights at our table weren't working well but I fixed it easily while the staff had no clue what to do about it.

It's tough to know how to grade this one.  If I grade it compared to Chicago bars, it's 3 stars but if I compare to other Evanston bars it's 4 stars.  I guess I'll give it 4.

Like others have mentioned, you get a pretty crazy cross-section of people here.  You'll see some drunks stumbling around not making much sense, a group of overly-excited sports fans watching the game and much more.  There's a pool table that looked nice but I never got to play it.  Really cheap pitchers, which I guess is what you want to go for when you go to a joint like this.  Bring a friend, grab a pitcher, drink up and join the ranks of the wasted.

I had the green lentil soup (from the "specials" menu) and some kind of flattened pesto chicken dish.  Both are absolutely fantastic.  The best meal I had in my 5 days in New York.  It's attached to the Chelsea Market, which is a pretty nice little place to tour while you wait.  Wait times don't seem to be too bad either.  About 15 minutes on a Sunday morning.  Highly recommended!

Pretty good bar.  It lacks a certain kind of ambiance, but makes up for it which pure fun.  There are chalkboards all over the walls for you to write on.  They have Guitar Hero on a huge screen in the back.  Drink prices are reasonable.  I came here to celebrate a birthday and the place was very accommodating for everyone... huge cake and all.  They did run out of Jameson, which for a place called WHISKEY Road is a bit of a disappointment.  I think it's hilarious that on Mondays you can come and get all-you-can-eat bacon for $10.  That's pretty much the height of absurdity.  They also show movies, so this Monday I could go watch Footloose and eat as much bacon as humanly possible... I am not sure why anyone would want to do that, but it's funny to think about.

I hate this bar.  The music is loud and really shitty which then makes the people loud and shitty as well.  I guess they have karoake some nights, but you could find much better places I'm guessing.
