Very mixed thoughts of this place. I liked the place for the most part, looks-wise. The ambiance was pretty good. They were playing a stereotypical collection of mafia music. The food came pretty swiftly and the food was also excellent. It was really good. I devoured mine.

The problem: The staff was so unfriendly. I felt like I was bothering them by being there. They seemed to have disdain for us the moment we walked it. We noticed that they were seating people outside and when we asked if we could sit outside, they said that there was no room, there clearly was room. Once seated, we asked one more time (two people seated outside had left and we thought that we could take their spots, since the apparently didn't have enough room for us before) and the waiter told us he'd check. He waited until after we had received and finished our dinner to come over to us and say "whoops, we were going to seat you outside, but you already finished."

TL;DR We felt completely unwelcome and although the food was excellent, I never want to go there again.

Popped in last night. Excellent pizza, hardly any wait time. They make the chewy wood-burning oven style pizza. The hostess was really sweet. The place had a charming ambiance. The pizza was pretty awesome too. I had a white pizza, because I'm stupid, so I can't report on the sauce, which probably would be helpful. The white pizza was good though. I am a fan of Keste's and this place is a chip of that block. I'll be returning to this place plenty of times after work, I'm sure.

I've been to this diner many times over the years and have watched it decline in value. I knew this diner was trouble when I went there on New Year once, and discovered that they had a special New Year menu... with prices pretty much doubled and the choices cut to a fraction of what they normally offer. I didn't go there much after, but I was there last Friday again, what a mistake. I ordered a dessert and with it, a glass of milk. The small glass of milk was almost 4 dollars. I can get a quart of milk for that. The waiter (Alex) ignored us most of the night, we waited about an extra half hour just to get the check. He'd pass by us and not even glance over so that we could get his attention. We usually had to call him and raise our hand to get his attention. I double checked, just to make sure, that the price of the milk was correct. He replied "that's what it says, doesn't it?" Alex... that isn't the way to make patrons want to tip you. I'm probably never going back to this place. I know it's a tourist trap based on its location, I guess that's fine if they don't care about retaining locals.

I see a lot of negative reviews and am a tad confused. I showed up, granted it was a Tuesday night, and was immediately seated, read the specials, and was served my order in about five minutes. I ordered the spinning gnocchi with the cream sauce. It was extremely good, I was very happy. The bread basket had a good variety and they refilled it without me having to ask. I thought the place was quite cozy and intimate. Maybe I need to go there on a weekend to have the experience ruined for me?

I bought tickets to a burlesque show downstairs at this place: horrible experience. There are only about 70 seats, but they sell about 120 tickets. If you have never been to this place before, you discover that you have to get there early to get a seat. Standing to the side wouldn't be so bad, but there are pillars in the way, so even standing off to the side you can barely see. It's really not cool, the reason you sell tickets is to manage the crowd and you stop when you are full. This place was just plain greedy and I will never attend a show here again. I urge all of you to keep away.

Took over an hour to delivery the food. Wasn't worth the wait - the food was meh. It wasn't during peak hours either and the place was extremely close, so there was no reason to take that long. Next time I want delivery, I'll order from a place that gets the food to me in a somewhat timely fashion.

This place is horribly over priced. The employees are rude. They impose minimums for drinks and hookah. I will never go there again. Every place in the city is priced more reasonably. All this place does is make me miss the really awesome hookah joints in Astoria

Picked this place at random, last minute. I had a group of 20 people, and they had no trouble setting up for us. The food was great. I'll be back there again to try more of the menu

Having been to multiple schools in my life, Hunter is pretty great. I find the administrative end of accomplishing things a tad laborious at times, but that is the case with any school. Relatively speaking, they're excellent. I transferred from another CUNY school, the process was easy, and I am having a great time. I have a good relationship with just about all of my professors, extra-curricular activity is encouraged. I wasn't much of an extra curricular person, I attended high school about three and a half days a week, so the fact that I have made short movies that have appeared in two film festivals at the school, as well as DJing on the college radio station is telling.

I liked this place a lot. The food was totally slammin', although the portions could have been more plentiful.
