Decent haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) and bibimbop.
Service is a bit lacking. The best part of their banchan is the potato salad.
The good thing about this place is it's large enough for groups.

This negative review is about this clinic's substitute vet on duty on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
We noticed our Tonk was lethargic and didn't eat on 11/19. The next morning (Saturday), we called Meadows (based on the positive review on Yelp) and brought him in at noon. Turns out the vet on duty was a substitute because the regular vet is on vacation. She told us she could hear Tonk's heart and lungs just fine, and he probably ingested a foreign object or had urinary/kidney issues. She gave us no indication that Tonk's condition was life threatening. She then suggested that we take Tonk to Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah instead because Meadows was closing at 1pm.
When we got to Alpine, the vet on duty said she couldn't hear Tonk's heart very well and his pulse was weak, so she ordered x-ray and cardiogram right away. Turns out Tonk's heart was failing fast, which caused his lungs to fill with fluids. We were told he wouldn't live very long and given the option to say goodbye to him right then. We were heart broken. The very kind doctor and staff at Alpine drained as much fluid from Tonk's lungs as he would tolerate, gave him meds to be more comfortable, and we took him home to spend his last days with his sister, Blue, and our son. Tonk passed away on 11/23.
I'm writing this review about Meadows now, and wishing I could give it zero star for the substitute vet. Her diagnosis of Tonk's issue was completely wrong, and her delivery/explanation was wishy-washy. Granted, there wasn't anything she could have done to save Tonk's life, we are very disappointed with her unprofessionalism and incompetence. The clinic's staff was nice, but I hope this substitute vet isn't left in charge again to mis-diagnose someone else's beloved pet. We spent $30 for the appointment (new patient discount) but that was still $30 too much for time wasted.

It's great to read so many glowing reviews of Sake Nomi. I've had this place bookmarked for months, just waiting for the right time to check it out.
Last Saturday, 4 good friends and I made plans to visit Sake Nomi before dinner. Upon entering the charming little shop, the owner asked: "Are you lost?" Hmm, what an interesting greeting. Perhaps we didn't dress appropriately??
"We're here for your sake tasting," I said.
Johnnie, the owner, paused and frowned: "Uh, have you been here before?"
There were 5 or 6 people at the bar, sipping sake and watching whatever was on the big screen TV. No one flinched.
Johnnie finally came out from behind the bar and approached the small tall table by the front window. The lady sitting there got up, gathered her things and walked toward the back of the store. We thought Johnnie was making room for us. Without so much as a word, he and another guy moved the table and stools right past us, situated it so that the lady had a better view of the TV. My friends and I were left standing in what was now an empty space between the bar and the door.
I spent a few minutes browsing the shelves and reading the brochures, hoping Johnnie would offer up *some* gesture that resembled customer service. Nothing happened. We finally gave up and started walking out. I waved at Johnnie and he returned a blank look.
I'm not a believer of the "Seattle freeze" myth, but apparently, it does exist in little pockets like Sake Nomi.
For what it's worth, it's a very small store. The bar seats maybe 6 or 7, and a small table seats 2 to 4. A big screen TV is right behind the bar, which pretty much kills the atmosphere.

We were presented with a very typical American Chinese food menu. Upon inquiry, two staff members explained they did serve those breakfast items but didn't have that menu ready yet. They couldn't seem to tell me what they could make/offer though, and we started playing a guessing game: "Do you make ___?" "Yeah, we do!" "Do you have ___?" "Umm no, but we have ___."
We ended up with:
Sweet hot soy milk: Lukewarm. Didn't have the fresh soy milk aroma.
Wonton soup: So bland that my friend didn't even finish one small cup.
Cold beef tendons: Pretty good flavor throughout (not just coated in spices), but not spicy at all.
Scallion pancakes: Way too crispy and dry.
Taiwanese rice sticks: Edible.
It was a very disappointing visit.
