This place just rocks. I just moved to the neighborhood while sublet hopping around New York City and Sheeps Station was my first stop. They food is authentic Aussie and tasty--and they have Coopers on tap--which is pretty much unheard of.
The music and people are quite fantastic as well. It has this "cheers-esk" feel to it on weeknights. Everybody knows everyone else's name. This place is in between 4 neighborhoods--but the residents of Park Slope/Gowanus/Boreum Hill/ Atlantic Yards should mosey on over and enjoy this joint.
Melissa has been my bar tender a few times and was super cool. Also, have had quite good conversations with Matt.
Haven't met the owners yet but they must be cool...

So I must admit...I love this place. The bartenders are cool, the owner Charlotta, is a mega talented painter and responsible for the ambiance, and the food is funky fabulous.
I love this place! Beautiful interior, beautiful good, and yes...beautiful people running the joint. The bartenders are really friendly and the owner is an extremely talented artist and activist....Try the lobster Ravioli or any of the soups...the chef is quite creative and makes up his own soup...I had the spiced brandy mushroom chowder and have never tasted anything like it. Seriously awesome experience every time I've been....

I'm Subletting in Clinton Hill and have really taken a liking to Maggie Browns...The vibe is over the top chill, the bartenders over the top friendly, and the food very, very good....
I have stopped in multiple times for a couple of beers and always have a good time...I like their old school booths....Eleve (sp) and Josh (one or the other or both) have been working most nights I've been in...
They have been quick to give tips about the neighborhood and Josh actually explained to an Australian traveling friend and I how to take the b62 bus to w-burg. It turned out to be an epic travel experience. If you are in the hood, ask Josh how to do it.

A friend and I found this place on Yelp tonight--coming from DBA a few blocks away. The Atmosphere was fantastic, the waitstaff very friendly, even the bathroom was impeccable.
We started with Samaosas and a few King Fishers, then shared the Lamb Vindaloo and Chicken TIkka Masala. It was fantastic and we both had a fabulous evening. We got some sort of cheese creamy thing for desert with some port. I think the bill was 60 bucks? Not bad for a big meal in NYC...
Overall, 5 stars without a doubt. I'll be taken friends back for sure

I eat at this place constantly. The price is right and the food authentic and delicious. Big Fan of the Enfrioladas special and the burritos.

Also, I had to run out as I was late for an appointment--and I felt really safe letting Josh finish his work without me there. I normally would never do such a thing--but felt really comfortable after spending an hour with Josh.
Just a good dude--and the price was really reasonable as well.
