I am ridiculously lucky enough to get married here.
You can rent two different sites for a multitude of purposes but I'd say a great deal of their events are wedding ceremonies and receptions. The whole site itself is absolutely beautiful. There are grass clearings surrounded by tall palm trees which overlook a small beach. I should also mention its the side of the island where you can view the sunset.
For you destination wedding brides this is a completely clear canvas of a venue. Lanikuhonua is just the basic location, you must choose EVERYTHING from your caterer to your florist to your table linens. I personally love the blank slate. The only drawback is my wedding has to end at 9:30pm.

First of all my husband hates all things medical, but as he was burning up with a 103 fever and ridiculously claiming that he knew for sure that he had somehow contracted swine flu--we desperately needed to get him some medical attention.
We found Concentra through our newly acquired private insurance. I expected to see a run-down medical facility full of sick people and a wait time of at least a couple hours. Nope. I was surprised to find a clean building with just a good handful of people waiting to see a doctor. We were in and out in a decent amount of time and were met with a friendly staff and a very accommodating and attentive doctor.
I may just be in a good mood but Concentra really provided the care we needed, especially at a bad time.
AND it turns out... my husband was wrong about his so-called swine flu. Haha.

We ate tapas family style, which is how it should be, and ordered a little bit of everything. I loved the rabbit stew (surpisingly!), garlic shrimp, potatoes with creme, grilled asparagus, and SANGRIA. After the bill came each person paid an easy $24, not bad at all.

Walzwerk has enough reviews. I just like telling people they serve a pint with half pilsner - half seven up and its KILLER. Its like beer for kids, or beer newbs like me who can't get over the bitterness... Ohh and the food is delicious too.

Minh's Garden Vietnamese Cuisine

I just want to vouch for Minh's yet again. I love how Minh is always friendly, always wears the same outfit (as if he's proclaimed it his uniform), and the food is always consistently good. I'm definitely a fan, and I love that its in my 'hood.

Since I've moved over to the Inner Richmond this has been my go-to Vietnamese restaurant.
First of all they don't have a minimum amount when you pay with card, second of all they have great friendly service, third their food is so damn tasty.
Their imperial rolls are a must.

Forever 21

The layout of this particular Forever 21 is a disarray. While I wouldn't say its three stars compared to other bargain clothing stores, its definitely three stars compared to other-more-organized Forevers.
Valley Fair is such a popular mall, therefore this Forever is always packed, with its weird layout you're bound to miss good stuff if you don't scour the entire store inch by inch.

I decided to make an appointment with Aqua on a whim. Last weekend was freaking GORGEOUS, totally summer sandal weather, easily... My ignorant self was completely unaware that such beautiful hot temperatures were upon us, and I had to sweat out the weekend (literally) in shoes. WELL... not this weekend (even though the weather isn't as "choice"), cause I am prepared.
Aqua is super clean, well-staffed, and has plenty of trashy & fashion magazines to go around. My "pedicurist" was a very soft spoken asian woman and she did a great job on my signature pedicure. I have no idea how flower petals help my tired ass feet, or why a green clay mask with plastic wrap help my skin, but whatever... I like the pampering.

This guy = MAGICIAN!
I found a ridiculous pair of elf-Link(Lengend of Zelda)-type-of-boots from Painted Bird in the Mission for the man. They were definitely one of a kind and worn out, so worn out the "heels were talking," and thats probably why the original owner to decided to let 'em go.
All it took was $15 with the Heel & I and they were as good as new. I will definitely be back for any shoe problems that come my way.

She is crazy awesome when it comes to what she does. She knows your hair like how doctors know their regular patients, its just ridiculous. She understands your hair, in a way that she can set your expectations about how the color will come out or how the natural wave in your hair will affect the risky cut you are attempting. I can definitely appreciate a stylist who can work with me in achieving a look I am going for. She is great at communicating with you what your hair needs and how to take care of it in-between visits.
I love Joanne. I've trusted her with my hair since I was 16 years old, when she was just a teenage girl who knew what to do with a bowl full of bleach and a (*gasp*) highlighting cap.
