Most Mexican restaurants claim to be authentic but serve "Tejano" (Americanized) food containing too much salt, vinegar, jalapenos, and bleached flour hidden under a mountain of tasteless cheese - especially in Michiana, a long way north of the border,  I have eaten the good stuff in Colorado and New Mexico, but it has been a while.

The first time I went to La Esperanza, I was amazed.  Great menu, they actually prepare and cook the food instead of nuking something from a can.  The presentation is excellent, and so are the flavors.  You can get it from mild to hot; but unlike most places, hot does not mean "battery acid".  The chili arbole sauce is fire with flavor, without obliterating the flavors of the food - producing a nice glow on a cold Indiana day.

I have yet to find another Mexican restaurant in the Elkhart area that can hold a candle to this one.

This Thai restaurant is not to be missed.  The ingredients are fresh, carefully prepared, subtly seasoned, and beautifully presented.  The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and each is a delight - so is the atmosphere and the owners.

At $7 to $20, the price range overlaps the selections available on this form; but it does not matter - this food is worth it.

We have used other plumbing services of dubious quality, so when Paul from Roto-Rooter arrived on 2011/08/16, I was impressed that he quickly understood a complex system, efficiently corrected the problem, and applied appropriate discounts with substantial warranty for a reasonable price.  I highly recommend this company and this courteous and professional employee.

I have taken my vehicle to Hart Automotive twice for unrelated issues.  On each occasion, the problem was handled quickly, courteously, and accurately.  During my brief wait, I noticed the owner has more certificates for training in automotive systems than I have seen for entire crews at large service shops.  This explains the efficiency and expertise I have observed, but it doesn't explain the very reasonable charges!
