The food was delicious, the drinks were good (That Beija is too much for me! But the mimosa was delicious, I am a little confused though as to why we had to pay for it since the champagne/sparkling wine was one of the sponsors, but oh well)
The lines were a lot crazy, the wait for drinks was also a little crazy, but honestly, you can only complain so much when all this deliciousness is FREE!
Great company, great food. Great job Leighann!

BRAG - Boston Ring And Gem

Sevag even fixed my engagement ring because it was cut the whole way through on the band - When he was finished with it it looked brand new! And he's offered to appraise and re-dip my ring before the wedding so it matches my wedding band.
The next time I want to buy expensive jewelry for myself I'm coming back to BRAG. And boys, if you want to get your girl a nice ring, come here in a heartbeat! You won't regret it!

So many fantastic deals to be had, so many innovative and awesome companies coming together for an awesome event. Can't wait to explore Kendall Sq. with some of the awesome deals we got from Yelp. Thanks to everyone that made this possible!
P.S. I totally won the bet on how many people would think Joe and his brother Matt are twins. YEAH!

If you like GOOD BEER, get here faster.
Tons of beer on tap, special beers of the month (This month its Sam Adams! YAY!) and even more beers in bottle form. They even had cask beer, which I had no idea what it was before I came here.
I got a sampler of different pumpkin style and Octoberfest style beers. They were all delicious. My Dad got a little carried away, ordering 2 beers plus a sampler (Sampler is 5, 5oz beers in case your wondering), but that just means it was a good day.
I was really impressed by the food. My Portobello pesto pizza was bursting with flavor and not to mention veggies. My Dad's mess of a bowl of pulled pork shepard's pie something or other was delicious. Joe's sloppy joe made with some kind of beer was also very tasty.
I'll be back, especially for the beer, and definitely for the food.

What do I see when I look at the coffee menu? THEY SERVE RAO'S COFFEE!!!!!!! Fast forward to me consuming 4 cups of coffee in one sitting. No really, I'm feeling GREAT *twitch*
Their signature breakfast sandwich is called the Monster - And who am I to pass that up? 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of bacon, sausage or something else I can't remember, and cheese, served on 2 slices of delicious Italian bread - Amazing, to say the least. My only critique? Every time I put the sandwich down I had a fresh layer of grease on my hands. But I still managed to eat the whole thing. I nommed on Joe's blueberry and cream cheese stuffed "American" toast and it was quite tasy as well.
Service was nice and fast, and kept my cup running over. Cash only though, but in case you forgot, they have an ATM in the back. And they only serve breakfast until 11AM, but I would come back to try out the lunch!

Good service, lots of places to sit, great outdoor patio, spotty wireless.
BEWARE: This is right smack in the middle of BU territory, and at the right times it is PACKED with them! When I left @ 6:30 one night there was a line out the door.
But otherwise a great place to study/do work or just hang out!

The outdoor patio is awesome - Unfortunately it didn't look like it was open when we went. The inside is cozy, and definitely reminds me of Joe's grandparents house (They are Polish - Close enough). They had a couple German Beers on tap - I ended up getting the Paulander (At least I think I did, I don't really remember). It was huge, it was good, and it was cheap.
For lunch I got the bratwurst sandwich which came with homemade potato salad and a delicious cold soup, made with sour cream and pureed veggies. The whole plate was awesome and also cheap at around $7.25.
When you walk into the dining room, there is a huge assortment of pies and cakes. I have an inkling they lay that assortment out on purpose so cake and pie fools such as myself are forced to get a slice (How can ou not? They looked so DELICIOUS!). I went with a Kahlua inspired sponge cake. It was great, not too heavy, and I didn't feel like I needed to be rolled out of the restaurant.
If I come back to D.C. I'll definitely return here!
Speaking, of the guides, they are AWESOME! They are hilarious, they know what they are doing, and they make damn sure that you hit everything possible (Thanks Ryan!)
The grounds are huge, and are ideal for playing anyof the following: volleyball, frisbee, kickball, football, dodgeball, wink tackle (Ugh I'm still sore) or anything else you can think of.
I can't wait to come back, because even though this place is in the middle of NO WHERE, Three Rivers still manages to keep everyone entertained!

The National Air and Space Museum
Category: Museums
I think the reason was because the whole musem looked tired. Like it hadn't been renovated since it was built. I mean, it's cool that you can built your own fighter jet, but when it's still using DOS and 8-bit graphics, it's a little lame. The Wright Brother's exhibit was the coolest - mainly because it looked brand new! The rest of the place was completely forgetable. My favorite part of the museum was the board that showed all the flights taking off and landing all over the U.S. It even showed what it looked like on 9/11 - it was amazing to see all the planes disappear.
I probably wouldn't come back here unless they did a major overhaul. However, I will give them this, it is insanely popular, so maybe they are doing something right.
