Not only do they have La Quercia farms prosciutto (my very favorite in the whole world, although I'm happy for you to send me back to Italy to double-check), they slice it so thinly it wafts in the breeze. *Sigh.*

Thanks, Yelp! Our shower started gurgling up dishwasher water on a Saturday afternoon, I checked Yelp, called these guys, and someone was on their way within the hour! Everything seems hunky dory, and there's a 30-day guarantee to boot.

I had a great experience here getting my car seat checked. I got a call back quickly and the officer did a great job explaining all safety points. Turns out you really do need two people to install the seat!

This is my other favorite restaurant right now (Piccino has the other half of my heart). Spectacularly easy with a baby in tow, the food is delicious and simple (I order the pretzel before I even sit down in case they run out), the waitstaff are unbelievably friendly, and there's no fuss or too-cool-for-schoolness (hello, Flour + Water, can't you even use the word 'and'?). I hope and pray that there will never be a wait for a table but that they will never want for customers, either.

I absolutely adore this place. It's just the right size (cozy but not cramped), the food is wonderful, the waitstaff and owner are unbelievably welcoming, the wine selection is lovely, the pizzas are awesome, the main plates are also awesome, and you feel like part of the neighborhood from the get-go. It's one of the best places I know to take your baby with you to dinner. You feel like you're among friends instead of annoying people, which, let me tell you, is a rarity and a treasure.

I'm giving it 3-1/2 for a wine bar and 2 for eating experience (plus another half star just because I'm glad it's around). I scoffed at all the reviews saying it needed to settle in, but it does in fact need to settle in. The food was good but not amazing, the waitstaff hovered a little too much (although this is probably in response to grumpy people expecting too much the first week), and there were multiple snafus with our order. (Charged us for a bottle not a glass, brought wine instead of cake, then mixed up the wines, aiie!)

Still, like I said, I am delighted they're in the neighborhood, and I will definitely come check them out again in a month or so.

Michelle was my midwife's apprentice, but she really did the work of a full midwife (which she now is). She's unbelievably knowledgeable, funny, supportive, and just awesome. (Running out of superlatives, sleep deprived brain kicks in.) You couldn't go wrong with having Michelle take a part in your pregnancy and birth!

I can't speak highly enough of Nancy and Ami. They were amazing  prenatally and helped turn my nightmare preecclampsia induction labor in the hospital at 37 weeks into a wonderful experience with their knowledge and support. (Michelle Welborn, who now has her own practice, gets big ups too.) They are that perfect blend of practical, knowledgeable and nurturing. They are big fans of science and hospitals when necessary, which was perfect for us, but I'm sure they can go hippie with the best of them, too.

We still keep in touch and I will love them forever! They will be the second to hear the news after my husband if we have another kid :-)

Just wanted to add my voice to the choir! These guys are fantastic, and cloth diapering is a breeze thanks to them. Plus, the customer service is top notch--they go out of their way to be helpful.

A few tips: order stuff from their online store and they'll deliver it with your diapers. (If your kid soaks through at night, Fuzzi Bunz all-in-one pocket diapers are a fantastic supplement to the cotton, and they carry them in the online boutique!)

STOKED to have this place in my neighborhood. I love that it's tucked away in the back of Tony's Market, I love the two funny guys who run the place (The Click and Clack of sandwich making), and, of course, I love the sandwiches. Delicious food, local and organic ingredients, and Dynamo is across the street. Oh, and Tony's Market is pretty great, too!
