Chinatown Brasserie is the best and *only* Chinese restaurant in New York that I can recommend.

I don't know where Joe Ng, the executive chef, is hailing from, but as a native Chinese growing up in Hong Kong and sampling top restaurants growing up, this NoHo outlet provides truly authentic Hong Kong styled dim sum that satisfies both my taste buds and visual imagination.

If you are looking for Hong Kong styled cantonese food, skip the chef specialties, which are completely catered to Americans and stick with the traditional dim sums.

The Peking Duck is also very good, and don't forget the traditional chinese desserts!
