This is my favorite roast duck place ever! I usually get roast duck & bbq pork over rice smothered with extra duck sauce.  I come here once a week because I live only a few blocks away.  It's my go-to Chinese takeout place. yum!

Snowee is a great place to hang ou, get some work done,t and have some snacks.  They offer free wifi. So I like to go there and get some work done while snacking.  I like frozen yogurt, but sometimes it's too cold for that, so I prefer hot foods.  Their hot foods are extremely delicious!  I've tried:

Beef hot dogs
baked fries
sweet potato fries
chicken strips

For a yogurt place, they sure have delicious snacks!!!  The beef hot dog was so tasty and juicy, my mouth waters just thinking about it.  The chicken strips (with honey mustard sauce) are pretty amazingly delicious as well.  What's great is, they also make an effort to be more healthy.  The fries are baked for example, and taste just as good as dee-fried.

The yogurt is pretty good as well.  I would say it tastes just like any other yogurt place.

Right in the neighborhood, our very own Korean Fried Chicken place! wooohooo!  Hubby and I were SO excited when we first tried this place.  We usually drive out to Santa Clara when we're craving Korean Fried Chicken.

For those of you who are familiar with 99 chicken in Santa Clara: this place is similar, but in my opinion, the chicken is better.  The chicken legs here are a little smaller, but juicier.. and comes out a lot faster.  They have a few different sauce choices.  I always pick spicy and sweet.  There's also a mini salad bar that comes with your meal. It's soooo good!  If you've never had Korean Fried Chicken, you HAVE to try it!

My only complaint for this place is that their menu is a little too small.  They just opened a couple weeks ago, though... so I hope they add a few more things to their menu, like omelet rice and some soups to the menu.  If they do, my rating for them will go up a star!

I'm sitting here, with my laptop on a big table with ample space, with plenty of power outlets, free wifi, and an amazingly delicious giant mug of Vanilla latte.  I'm in coffee shop heaven!!!! and... evidently, on an awesome caffeine high as I am writing this review!!!!

Today is my first day trying out Mission Coffee.  I had been going to Bay Street cafe for a while - almost daily -- because they have free wifi, and it's not as freezing cold as starbucks.... and then my friend suggested I check out Mission Coffee.  

Right when I walked in, I noticed a table of older white ladies playing mah-jong! hahaa. How awesome is that?!  Maybe i'll try to join them one day. haha.  The atmosphere is so nice here - it's not too crowded.  The tables are huge - great for groups.  Mission Coffee is a big open space, yet has an incredibly cozy feel to it.  There's people here having friendly conversations, working, playing games, having lunch.  

I've found my new office away from home! =)

This place has recently become one of my favorite thai restaurants in the area!  It's a super clean restaurant, and has extremely good service.  They have the staple thai dishes, but also venture out to create more unique dishes.  

Bankok Thai Cuisine is one of those restaurants that has an inventive chef, rather than just a cook.  They experiment with specials on the wall that aren't always in the menus, and it seems that whatever they put out tastes pretty dang good!  We love the honey pork (so juicy!), lobster balls, angel wings (not sure if they still have this), mango rice, fried banana with coconut ice cream.   The dishes are always nicely plated and presented well.  Another plus is -- they serve brown rice! yay!

The only thing that could use some improvement is the curry.  I find the curry to be a little too thin for my taste.  I like my curry to be slightly thicker.  However, I have to say the curry still tastes really good, and because it's not so heavy, i feel healthier coming out =)

A place like this makes us come back again and again to try ALL of their dishes, because you can tell that the chef goes out of his way to make staple dishes somewhat original ... and it's always tasty.

La Vic's is my fav burrito place of all time! Aside from the juicy meat and perfect ingredients (rice, beans, guac, etc.), the special orange sauce makes it PERFECT.  In fact, just thinking about that dang burrito is making my mouth water.

Spacious.... but dirty, sticky, smokey, stuffy club... it's really hard to breathe in there.  Definitely not trying to go back there....

Lydia was life saver - I found her on yelp for last minute bridesmaid dress alterations.  She was quick, decisive, and was able to determine exactly what needed to be done to make the dress work... and finished within two days! Not only did she do an awesome job, she was extremely affordable in comparison to the alterations places my friends took their dresses to.  I feel very lucky to have found Lydia. =)

Yummy comfort food. Once in a while, I crave me some Spam Musubi and Ohana's hits the spot.  Ohana's is super affordable - and the food is consistent.  It's nothing out of the ordinary compared to other fast hawaiian places.  Their Chicken Katsu, Volcano Chicken, and BBQ mix plates are all good.  I find Ohana's Macaroni salad to be slightly better than L&Ls.  Otherwise, pretty similar.

It's all about the pork flavor ramen with stewed pork.  OMG the fatty stewed pork is sooo mouthwatering and perfectly tender and sweet.  The broth is flavorful and just salty enought with a little bit of a buttery taste... It's delicious but be prepared to drink lotsa water afterwards.  I'm always really thirsty after Santa Ramen.
