I describe it as being similar to Haven in Orange or Father's Office except not as good as either one, however, I only base this opinion on the decided lack of beer selections. I didn't try the food.
The interior is hip and dim, so that way the uglies look better and so do you.
Honestly, I don't see this place staying open for the long haul. There are better pubs to patron in the area.
When we arrived we put in for a table and were told it would be about a forty minute wait, good thing our friends had put in a reservation. Yeah, put in a reservation, kids.
We showed up just in time for happy hour and the prices on the meats and beer were pretty stellar.
The meat you cook yourself, reminiscent of a Korean BBQ joint. Everything was pretty delectable, I must say. The meats were definitely seasoned/marinated, to add to their flavor.
The service was also good, even though it was ridiculously packed.

Their staff is great and they're honest. How do I know? First off they're very friendly and up front about what happens with your car. Secondly, they cleaned out my car and took all of my belongings out and boxed them. Everything was in the box, right down to my iPod.
Great place. I'd come back for sure.
Nana San is well above average in my opinion. The service is great, the preparation of the sushi is good and fish is especially fresh. Overall high quality stuff. It brings a tear to my eye. It also makes me happy that I'm the first person on Foursquare to get down there. =) I'll be the mayor soon enough!
The store is always packed and it's well laid out, too. Prices are reasonable, selection is bigger than John Holmes... If you need more info please invest in his catalog for details.
I don't come here enough, given how much great stuff they have. I do need to try the fresh made barbari from the bakery at some point, it looks delish!

Their dog makes me laugh. I don't know why. It's a combo of sad, fluffy and cute... It makes me feel... funny. Like climbing the rope in gym class.
Anyway, this place is amazing. First off, it's open 24hrs a day. I know, crazy right? THey have the nicest people working there, D.H. must have a personality disorder or sssssomething (Serpantor hiss.)
The real star of this place is the soda machine. A computerized soda machine serving up so many varieties of soda that I literally effing cried. Peach Sprite anyone? Did YOU know they made that? Probably an experimental product sold to the people of the Appalachia region, brought to Southern California for our betterment. I'm not kidding. I love the soda machine and the people and a sandwich at any hour my stomach desires. 4am? No problem, get some meatball sammich, fatty. 2am? Done with the other barflies and club kids, no problem, like an oasis or a good neighbor, it's always there!
Subway, beating you in the face with a fresh meaty sandwich any time of the day or night!

Anyway this is an Irish pub. It's small yet cozy. There's a second floor to this place too. Lots of brews on tap, one of which is Chimay White, yaay!
I've heard tell the bar food is good, but that's kinda like saying the tore up "heifer" in the corner is a good lay. You just take the advice at face value and take your chances or walk away.
Timmy Nolans is a-okay in my book. Show owner comment »

I ordered up the Baghali Polo. The lamb was juicy and tender fall of the bone type stuff, people. The basmati rice was also really good and simple, but so tasty!
It's a small cafe in Irivne, sure, but the are no nonsense with the food. It's just good! Period. You doubt me? I'll cut you!

This place is pretty average. Good friendly service, okay-to-average in terms of their food. Honestly, I'd be just as happy at a Denny's... Wow, i just shuddered after writing that.
The food was pretty standard, though, I didn't much care for their muffins. Everything else was spot on.
Perhaps my review is off because this place has been here forever. But if my grand pappy, Killer O'Hoolihan taught me anything, just because you've been around the block a few times doesn't meant people thing you're the bees knees, you still might be a jerk. That's how this review ends, children.
