This place is wonderful. I go here just about ever other week to get my hair done and I've been extremely satisfied with the level of service. I get a call before my appointment with Quiana every week to remind me. I also rarely wait more than 10 minutes for her to get started on me. Without fail, they offer water or tea as soon as I sit down on the chair. Eventhough I am not getting spa services I get the spa experience. I love it. I also like that they accept credit and debit cards for payment. Not all beauty shops have that option. I am going to eventually try the spa services. They offer just about everything you could think of from massages to facials and manicures. I love one stop shopping!

Making a reservation was easy as we called and were able to get a table for an hour later. We were told the attire was "polished casual," a term that we got a couple of giggles out of, but we polished ourselves up wearing outfits that could get us into a decent country club and made our way to the establishment.
Chato has a newness that you see as soon as you walk in the door. The furniture and lighting is crisp. The bar area to the right was well appointed and seemed fitting for a group of friends to enjoy after work drinks. There was also a nice outdoor patio for diners as well. The dining room was to the left of the hostess stand. It was full with only one or two tables left. Despite being early we were seated and the hostess left us with the menus. The only slight was she forgot the cocktail menus.
My friend and I both ordered the Mai Tai. It was one of the best and most potent Mai Tais I've ever had. I would order it again. In fact, before the night was over, I did. My friend's husband had the Dark and Stormy. I've had this at a restaurant in Atlanta, being a fan of ginger beer. It was tasty and served up in an extra tall glass.
The appetizers were something to be remembered. I thought I was keeping things basic with the Caesar. When it arrived I was in a cheesy heaven as the salad was served in a crisp cone of Parmesan cheese. My friend had the shrimp, lobster and scallop ceviche and the presentation complimented the taste. We couldn't resist ordering the artisan bread appetizer to share and the assortment of breads was good, but I decided to ease up on the garlic-balsamic spread.
The main course remained consistent. My friends shared the Muscovy Duck Duo, which I tasted. Being a fan of duck, this wasn't my first time. It was quite good. I ordered the scallops and as scallops go these are amongst the best I've had - comparable to Canoe in Atlanta. I'm picky about scallops. The lobster risotto that accompanied the meal was also good, though I only saw one piece of lobster in it. Not sure if it was supposed to have more or not. This wasn't a huge disappointment because the scallops and the rest of the meal were more than satisfying and filling.
During the meal we found out that they won't be serving lunch here anymore so they are, as many new restaurants do, making changes and adjusting based on customer feedback and response. I love trying new restaurants and this one, which was new for all three of us, impressed us all. I would definitely return to Chato.
