What a cool gift for guys to get for their girls! The website is super easy to use and obviously well thought out. Good job!

The staff was extremely friendly. In fact, the owner came out to meet our group, welcomed us, and even gave us a Doughboy on the house. Also, the pancakes were awesome! (one would hope, right?)

However, the owner coming out to greet us and the friendly staff was really the only thing that would make me even consider returning.

As soon as we walked in, we were hit with an overwhelming odor (like spoiled eggs). I noticed it, but didn't say anything until 2 other members in our group pointed it out.
There was a customer making a scene because her "food was cold" and a staff member kept saying "no way. No way." Whether it was or not, don't keep saying "no way".

The menu offered a lot of pancakes and a few other breakfast selections, but don't go there hungry - you'll need to order twice. The servings were small and overpriced for the product (upwards of $8.50 for pancakes and 2 eggs). If it wasn't for the extra food the owner brought out, I would have left hungry and disappointed.

The overall atmosphere was light on decorations and obviously designed to look like an original, southern road-side pancake house; except it lacked the charm and authenticity. It looked like a sad attempt to *look like* an original pancake house.

Overall: Not really impressed. The staff (and owner) and the food were great. But not enough to outweigh the slight portions, high price, and god-awful smell.

Very personal and professional service from the staff and owners. We ordered almost the entire menu to get a sense of their quality and were very impressed.

The prices are on the high-side of normal for the neighborhood, atmosphere, and menu. However, the meticulous attention to detail from the kitchen and staff makes it acceptable. It is obvious that dishes are prepared lovingly and not thrown together.

I recommend the ham and brie sandwich, the Slider. Followed up with fresh cookies for dessert (served hot with a large glass of milk).

They have a lot of intimate settings in the back for a glass of wine (great first-date location!) or relaxing after catching a show.

A down-side is the ballet class upstairs, but they are done with rehearsals at 6pm. The 'thumping' was somewhat annoying and an obvious distraction to other diners.

I stopped in yesterday and they were "Closed Down" as the sign on the door said. What's up with that?

The restaurant was completely empty when I went for a late lunch. The pizza was good and they offered a very wide selection of food on the fast-food-style menu boards.

I felt their prices were bordering on the high-side for the product; more of a Seattle price point when the Puyallup/South Hill market isn't quite ready for it.

I felt like the environment and food didn't match the order/pay before you're seated approach, it felt like I was ordering at a fast-food restaurant and dining in an up-scale establishment.

Overall, it won't be in my top 5 choices next time I'm hungry, but I wouldn't avoid it.
