After seeing this on the TV show, Man vs. Food, I had to go check it out.  I got a super burrito with chicken. I have never tasted chicken like that in a burrito! My husband got the sauteed veggies, which were cooked fresh at the time of order--this also was done for the chicken.  You may wait a bit for it, but it's worth it!

I work right by Durso, so it's a great place for lunch.  Not much seating, but the food is what makes it!  Their salads are big, so I usually end up eating half (especially if I add chicken to it), and then eat the other half later.  Everything is so fresh! The soups are yummy too, especially the tomatoe.  I haven't tried their panini sandwiches yet, but I'm sure they're delicious.  They made an error on a order once. When I went back to get it corrected, they gave me a free cookie! So the cookies are good too!

The staff there are friendly, fast, and acknowledge your presence. I love that!

I took Skeeter's class on Wednesday evening.  I was VERY impressed by the studio. Beautiful floor and windows surrounding the whole room. I want to take a class here when it's a clear sky ;-) Also, lots of props available for students. I loved Skeeter's philosophy and approach to yoga.  She had a gentle, but empowering approach to the practice. I walked out of there feeling invigorated and relaxed.

I took Tony's class at Sports Basement and was so appreciative of his presence. He not only connected with the whole class right from the start, but held that connection throughout.  As an Iyengar teacher, he offers amazing technical instruction, while challenging you in a safe manner, but with enthusiasm and fun! I find it so important, as a yoga teacher, to have fun and Tony definitely creates that in his classes.   He inspired me to keep seeking out yoga teaching positions and when I did, I landed 2 more! Tony rocks and I recommend him to lots of people.

Chris is truly, an intuitive, supporting bodyworker.  She incorporates her life coaching skills with her bodywork and energy work which really helped and guided me to be in my body and not in my head.  Even though, I didn't go into detail about what I needed out of the session, she really tapped in and listened to not only my answers to her questions and feedback, but I really felt taken-care-of and safe.  I also felt very clear about my path upon leaving the session.

Her music was also very soothing! I'm very grateful and can't wait for the next one!

I love this place. From a comfortable, laid back atmosphere to super friendly staff, it's just great!  I got the vegetarian tacos which is only one but super stuffed with lettuce, pico de gallo, pinto beans, sour cream, guac, etc.  My hubby got a burrito which was also full of stuff and yummy.  Then the margaritas with lime juice and a sangria floored me.  You walk in there not expecting much, but I came out of there very satisfied and FULL!

My husband and I have been wanting to try it and we finally did.  Very satisfied starting with the margaritas made out of lime juice which I think is the only way I can go now with margaritas.  The chips and salsa were super yummy as we waited for our food. I got the chicken enchilada dish and he got the chili reyeno (sp?).  Delicious! We also got an appetizer which is a corn on the cob smothered in mexican cheese and other spices.  I'm drooling just thinking about it!

I went here as a recommendation from a coworker. I took a friend along for lunch. It was yummy! I got the quinoa salad which had portobella mushrooms, greens and other yummy stuff.  Then I got a flourless oatmeal cookie. WOW! This was amazing. I haven't tried the homemade kombucha yet but plan to on my next viist.

Update - 5/28/2009
The only reason I'm updating this is because I got 2 flake-outs in a row. Last night I went for game night and ordered a beer and some of their delicious spinach and feta quiche (which I've had before and it's yummy).  I got the beer. I waited a good 10 or 15 min for the quiche which usually is microwaved so I wasn't sure why it was taking so long. I went up to the counter to find out the girl didn't even put it in! Then this a.m my husband went down to get some coffee and I requested a Large soy chai.  Not knowing the contents was wrong, he came back with a medium. No big deal, but it was a regular latte with milk! If it was soy I would've drank it.
I really like the atomsphere there. I hope they get it together a bit more.

I like the atomsphere a lot, even if the furniture is leather.  The coffee is really good too.  I usually find when I go to independently-owned coffee shops/cafes the coffee is always too strong or heavy.  I finally tried it last Saturday and it was, Mmmm...mmmmm good!  They're quiches are yummy too. I haven't tried any other food, but it sounds yummy.  I've walked by there on some days and evenings and there's live jazz there, which always will draw my attention.  I'd check it out.

Even though some of the items are on the pricy side, I thought the food and drinks were delicious! Although it wasn't busy, I also felt the waitstaff took care of us as well.  It was my 2nd year wedding anniversary, so my hubby and I got complimentary glasses of champagne which I thought was very nice.  I had the Fish and he had the Tuna. The presentation was gorgeous and the portions were perfect.  For cocktails, I had the Honey Crisp and he had the Temptation.  The mixtures were even and the flavor was amazing. Definitely try their drinks!
