I love going to this place to get my haircut. It's near work so I go on my lunch break. The staff is cool esp my hairdresser Denise. I only get a cut & dry so I'm easy but I've seen them do some great highlights. The prices are super cheap and they do a great job. Check it out!
I have eaten here a million times as it is close to home. I can attest to the consistent quality and service. Almost everything on the menu is a good choice, and there is enough to keep coming back for new things. The cocktails are delish as well. Some of our favorites are the Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops, Ahi Tuna App, Filet entree, Salmon w/Mango Salsa, Shrimp&Scallops w/Pan Asian Sauce, and the list goes on.
Reservations are a good idea on the weekends unless you want to hang out and have a pre-meal cocktail or two.

The place is nice inside and out, and the service was good. I thought the lunch menu was ok but really had a hard time choosing what to order. The salads looked good but I wasn't in the mood for a salad. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was really good, gooey and yummy like a grilled cheese should be. My friends weren't happy with their food at all - a burger and a fish sandwich. They both didn't look very good in my opinion, and since this is a nicer place I expect a gourmet touch. Disappointing since there aren't too many nice places in this area.
Overall, not impressed at lunch. I am willing to go back for dinner when they likely have a different chef and different menu choices, but for now 2 stars it is.

Yelp's Spice Trade at the Mandarin Oriental

What a beautifully coordinated event at a perfect location. This was my first yelp event and I was impressed. From the beginning expectations were clearly set in the invites - we'll be on the sand, valet parking only, clear guest lists and the coordination continued thru to the end. It was a great crowd of people, great service, great food, and great drinks. How cool was the ice bar? I'm looking forward to the next event!
I recently discovered Ross and have checked out a few stores in the Miami area. The stuff is so cheap it's crazy but you definitely have to be in the mood to look around. I would not recommend this particular location. It is a mess, full of rude people, and an overall very unpleasant experience. I realize we are in Miami, but for the love of god can one person address me in English? If you aren't a Spanish speaker, and you don't like crowds of rude people, stay away from this location.
Best Chinese Take out in Rome. Period. We love the chicken and broccoli with veggie fried rice. Never disappointing, and they deliver.

But the food sucks. There I said it. The food is bland, chain restaurant garb. There are a few menu items that are delicious, but less than a handful on a menu with what feels like a million options meet this status. In fact, that is the exact problem with this place. You can't be good at Everything. Keep what you're good at and get rid of the rest (ie 85% of your menu). Then you'll get 5 stars.

This is probably my favorite place in Miami to go shopping. I don't always find tons of stuff, but I usually find a few key items at great prices. They only carry women's items at this location but when they move to their new location at Town & Country they will also carry men's and children's.
No 5 stars due to the layout of the store. They really make it hard to find what you're looking for particularly when it comes to jeans and undergarments. Seriously, can we please try to arrange things a little neater!? Hopefully I can come back with a 5 star review for the new store.

Phish's four night stand at AA Arena

I want to like this store more, but I just don't. I do have high expectations for my grocery stores after being spoiled by Wegmans, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Supertarget. Sorry Publix, but I'm just hoping and praying for one of the above stores to come around.
