Just had an intimate dinner here and it was aesthetically pleasing on all counts!
The sushi tastes very fresh, and along with the classics they have some really good special rolls. I recommend the Barbie and the Speed Racer. One of them is salmon with a bunch of things and mango- I know, awesome.
The restaurant's got a whole subway station look going on- tiny, tucked away below ground level off the street. I haven't been to Japan but looking at some other reviews I guess that's what it's like for real.
The whole experience is in such close quarters that it feels cozy, like a little hiding place from the crazy city outside. Great food, nice people and pleasing to the senses!
