Spooky's Black Cat Cafe and Milk District…

Absolutely delightful! I loved the whimsical decor and the food was great!

I ordered the crab flatbread and never thought crab meat, mushrooms and red onions would make a good combination but it totally was! My boyfriend ordered the meatloaf sub which looked great and tasted so smokey and delicious! I loved the Dragon Egg appetizer although I thought a three egg portion was a bit stingy, I think four eggs are more conducive for sharing (we were eating with another couple). I nibbled on the Flat de Spana and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not one to combine my sweet and savory but this flatbread with figs worked out beautifully! I think it was actually my favorite!

I would skip dessert next time, I had the Boston Creme Pie and sampled the Pecan Pie and they're all right but definitely not Spooky's best items on the menu.

Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and service at J. Alexander's.

I stupidly thought we could walk into Seasons 52 across the street (the Dorsia of Orlando, apparently) at 8pm for dinner without a reservation. An hour and a half wait. Yeah, no thanks.

We hopped over to J. Alexander's instead, were promptly seated and received the best service I've experienced in a long time. Our table was well attended, my water glass always promptly refilled and the manager came over to introduce himself and present our dishes.

We weren't terrible hungry so we ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and an order of onion rings. They were both delicious although I found the smoked salmon to be just a bit stronger than I was anticipating - the flavor of smoke was almost overpowering but still a pretty good dish. I think Oblivion's onion rings have set the bar pretty high but J. Alexander's weren't bad.

I ordered a martini from their menu and love the way their drinks are mixed. I haven't been disappointed with their drinks so far!

Not a bad spot for a nice dinner for two!

I definitely wouldn't mind coming here again. I only had an appetizer and a glass of wine at this restaurant while celebrating a bachelorette party.

I ordered the egg roll appetizer which they refer to as huevos-something-or- other. It's supposed to be a southwestern style eggroll, not bad. I really enjoyed it!

We sat at the bar while waiting for other guests to arrive and we were well attended to by the staff. The drinks are mostly $8+ so my cheap ass opted for a simple glass of wine.

Great environment and the food seemed promising!

Confession: I've never really eaten in Ikea's cafeteria. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've had their chocolates and their ice cream and I think even a slice of pizza. But I've never eaten upstairs.

But trust me, I've learned the error of my ways. I will never again ignore the deliciousness that is the Princess Cake. WHAT ROCK HAVE I BEEN HIDING UNDER ALL THIS TIME?

Princess Cake is this soft, sweet, creamy, puffy little dream come true. Le sigh.

My friends and I went there just for lunch after a long day of shopping at Mall at Millenia. We didn't even look at furniture. Don't judge us.

Wat?! I haven't reviewed IKEA yet?

Well, I have enough restraint not to have my entire home looking like a page from the IKEA catalog...but just barely.

I was there a while ago during their grand opening when they had security teams pacing on the roof of the building and by miracle we found a parking space RIGHT in front of the entrance. IT WAS DESTINY!

IKEA food is great, their home decor is lovely and most of their furniture is a great deal - not all of it mind you but most of it. Sometimes I wonder how they manage to charge nearly $1,000 for a basic sectional fabric couch. It's highway robbery!

But IKEA has lots of knick knacks, kitchen tools and other furniture that are "hackable" or customizable - and it's fun to see what people come up with (just do a google search of "ikea hacks" to see what I mean).

The store is practically a tourist destination, so one go-round through the showroom is plenty - you'll find people actually lounging on couches or making cell phone calls as if they actually lived in the faux 372 sq ft apartment space. But, it's a good way to gauge whether IKEA products can hold up with thousands of people fiddling with drawers, beds and light fixtures for hours at a time, days on end. We noticed a commercial styled arch faucet that had some major holes in the tubing so we made a mental note of it.

I wish they had a more direct route to the wharehouse but you have to head up the stairs and back down again....right.by.th ecafeteria. YUMS.

Oh, and one more thing, the checkout line is an absolute nightmare. NIGHTMARE, I TELL YOU.

As a new scrapbooker, this place is basically heaven for me! All kinds of unique products and I love that they display beautiful pages throughout the store. It's very inspirational and helpful!

I had gone into the store looking for something I found in their online stock but unfortunately (mental note) their online stock can differ from the store. Still, you can order online and then pick up in store without paying for shipping. Not too bad.

I found the place to be pretty pricey BUT when I visited they had a 40% clearance section where I actually found lots of great little embellishments and spent about $8.00. Not bad!

I hope they might consider more promotions or a better customer appreciation program since you have to spend at least $250 to earn a 20% off your whole purchase coupon which, I feel, would take me FOREVER. Unfortunately the frequent coupons I get from Michaels and Joanns tend to lure me there instead.

Still, Scrappy seems to have a solid, loyal community of scrapbookers and I love to follow the store on Facebook to get ideas and learn about products.

If I had a bigger budget for my craft, I definitely wouldn't mind splurging here.

Great brunch! I ordered the Cali Panini and the bread was just how I like it, piping hot and crispy! I found the avocado to be not yet quite ripe enough but it was a still a great breakfast panini.

I loved the Royale mimosa, it was refreshing and yummy and the prices are pretty average for mimosas downtown!

Service was prompt and the location is perfect for enjoying the outdoor patio and people watching! Would love to bring my boyfriend to sample their beer flights and more of the menu.

It's official. Yum Yum is trying to kill me.

How else do you explain their presence directly in front of my office during lunch!

I went for a Foxy Four ($9.00) and have barely made it past Dom Berrignon yet before writing my update. Delicious! The frosting is made with champagne. CHAMPAGNE.

I love everything about their cupcakes: the consistency of the icing is perfect and never gritty, the cupcakes are always moist and more dense than, say, Publix cakes. And of course, I always dig their clever cupcake names!

I also ordered S'mores, Pippamint Middleton & Le French Toast. Let's hope I don't see the ghost of Paula Deen on Christmas Eve, because that's totally where I'm headed.

When I first tried their Vanilla and Peanut Butter Cupcake, I thought: not bad, not bad at all.

Now that their cupcake flavors are growing more robust I can firmly say that their cupcakes are DELICIOUS. My favorite? The Lemonata Cupcake. I absolutely love lemon tart flavors and this cupcake is filled with a lemonade custard-like filling and then topped with a meringue that's slightly browned at the top. Just, wow!

I mean, I LOVE to bake cupcakes but I feel like with these charming fellas around, I don't have to anymore!

Yelp is so generous to score us tickets for this show! This was my first circus EVER. I was excited!

Like Luis mentioned, when I heard that "Dragons" was the theme, I was also expecting something more Far East themed. This is definitely geared towards children but I couldn't help but make some comparisons to Cirque du Soleil.

I think this is a great show for children - they'll get a kick out of the animal acts. For me, I have to admit, I felt a bit uncomfortable with some of the animal acts. Some of the animals didn't feel like cooperating that night and it just kind of reminded me that they didn't belong there in the first place.

The Globe of Steel is easily the best act in the whole show - probably why they saved it for last. I love seeing trained animals like cats and dogs but that portion was so chaotic, everything was happening at once I felt like I was missing out on what the ponies were doing while the cats were balancing on tiny balls.

All in all, a wonderful Elite event but I would definitely recommend this for families with children.

Not a bad place to pick up a beer or two after work. I met up with a friend here for some early afternoon beers. There's an indoor area that opens up into the outdoor area and a couple of high-tops and a bar.

The outdoor area was pretty decent though you only have a view of the parking lot and when city sewage came around to clean it totally killed the atmosphere. We had to move to a high-top inside, the smell was so disgusting.

This seems to be a decent place for folks who live and work nearby. I'm no beer expert, but I can think of a couple of places near Downtown and South Orlando that I'd head to first based on price, selection and atmosphere.

Still hovering at four stars, although, when I brought a big group to try out Oblivion for the first time, there were a few things I noticed that could use improvement.

I admit I made a last minute reservation with them about 2 hours before my guests were arriving. We all decided on an impromptu dinner and I wanted them to try Oblivion. So kudos to Oblivion for accommodating that to begin with.

I was expecting about 6-8 people when 10 or 11 showed up. I know this can be disconcerting for the hostess but, still, I just brought you 3 additional customers. The least you can do is figure out how to seat them. Her only suggestions was to split us up into booths. It took so long to have my additional guests seated that my friends actually considered leaving to eat at the food truck next door and returning to join us for drinks. Unacceptable.

After some confusion, my friends were finally seated with us and we all ordered. I ordered the Beer and Cheddar Soup from the day's special. I thought it was a delicious albeit a little too salty. I ate every last bit and loved the bread slices that went with it. My friend ordered the BBQ Sliders from the specials menu and although he said it tasted fine, he was really disappointed by the serving size. For $8 dollars, he got two bite-sized sliders. He would have been better off ordering the $8-11 burgers off the regular menu.

For the most part, it appeared everyone enjoyed themselves and I had two friends return the following night with two more friends (I think the fact that Oblivion served seiten was a big incentive!). But I did feel a tad embarrassed when it took so long to have my additional guests seated, definitely not what I would like their first impression of Oblivion to be like.

I can definitely see this becoming a regular spot to hang out and have a beer. It's got a great central location, great selection of beer (at reasonable prices) and an imaginative menu.

I had some onion rings which were delicious and breaded perfectly. I would love to try more of their menu for dinner. The service is great, everyone seems laid back and happy to be there.

I agree that the space can feel kind of confusing as it moves from dinner to late-night but there's a lot of room to make it work, much like how Fid's pulls their dining and late-night bar together. I'm not worried about it.

Especially when they have Delirium Tremens on tap. Hey oh!

$10 for guys and $7 for ladies is a really great price for a breakfast buffet. They have eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes (which were delicious), french toast, hash and other typical breakfast fare.

I just loved the general atmosphere - it was casual, bustling with business and the owner was friendly and active, greeting everyone who came into the restaurant. Even the cooks were leaning over the bar to ask if I wanted my eggs cooked differently.

Other reviewers are right when they say All American Cafe isn't pretty or that the inside dining area is tiny or the buffet isn't absolutely fabulous. I don't think it's meant to be. It's cheap, it tastes good and it's the perfect place to be when the weather is nice (they have outdoor seating).

I feel like the buffet could use improvement but I'll definitely be back for a casual, relaxed  and affordable breakfast out on the patio.
