Before you eat get the guacamole with some chips. Some of the best I've had! They have a cinnamon iced tea that was surprisingly tasty. The fish tacos pleased us all, including a friend who I brought here who was craving Mexican. It totally hit the spot for him.
But for me the desert was the stunner. Even though I was quickly approaching beached whale conditions, I was summoned further into a fatty sin-hole when the waitress uttered the words "Bread pudding". My organs shifted just to add a little space in my stomach.
And I was not disappointed. This moist magical mush which contained various nuts and gooey chocolate, ranks up there with my all time favorite bread puddings. You will not find a dry bite in this desert.
Unfortunately, this isn't the cheapest Mexican joint. 1 guac, 3 fish tacos (with rice and beans), 3 iced teas, 1 coffee, and 1 bread pudding, put us at over 60 dollars. Um, yeesh.

The food is fantastic. I would eat here more often if it weren't on the pricey side. This place serves one the of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had, with a side of tomato soup.
I give would give it 5 stars but some of the pricing bothers me. I took my girlfriend here because I wanted her to try the grill cheese that I had been raving about., and our bill came to over $30. That's right, $30 for two grilled cheese sandwiches and two cups of tomato soup that are included as sides.
In fact the grilled cheese sandwich is more expensive than the cheeseburger. I don't see how that makes sense.
One issue some may have are the portions. They are on the small side. I mostly don't mind, because I would rather have it that way, than have them bringing out a mountain of food. Easier for me to control! But I can see that the price/portion ratio might bother some people.
But back to the quality of food. Some of my other favorites that I recommend are the flat bread pizza and the lamb french dip.
Nice atmosphere too!

But Gloria's is crowded for a reason. The food is damn good, and when I return it will be with a group of four or less!

It's not my favorite Korean BBQ, but since I can walk to it from my house, I certainly enjoy coming here.
It's a tad pricey though. And I felt a bit shorthanded the last time I went. My friend and I ordered the Kalbi. When it came, we discovered, that more that half the plate were the ribs with just gristle on them. Some pieces did had that lovely flap of meat. But most of them were woefully meatless. Just plenty of fat to chew on.
As I walked in, I was admiring all the food I saw at everyone's table. We ordered what looks like their specialty, which was the sausage and rice. It was damn good! Though I wish it were hotter. I think they prepare many of them ahead of time, and send it out to us as soon as we get there. It did in fact arrive 5 minutes after we ordered it.
We also ordered what we though were steamed pork buns. When they came out, they ended up being soup dumplings! Like the ones you find at Din Tai Fung. Guess if I could read Chinese I would have seen this coming. I did think it was a bit strange that their order of pork would come in 10. Now we know why. I think they were pretty good!
So, not only is this place delicious, but it is wonderfully cheap. I commented out loud that I would love to work in this area so I can eat here every week. Lastly, the service was SUPER friendly.
There was a lot on the menu to make me drool,so I am definitely coming back to try more!
Though I think they like the air conditioning a little too much. It can be really cold when you are dining in.
But the service is wonderfully friendly, and it's a lot of fun to watch Mexican television while eating here.

Now service aside, I would give the food 5 million stars if I could. It was utterly fantastic, and I would love to come back again.
But alas, I give it below a perfect score, due to the inaccessible nature of this place. But I would be more than willing to change the score if I have a different visit later on.
Please Shufeng! If you're reading this, print your Hot Pot menu in English! I want to enjoy your delicious food!
The Hawaiian breakfast special is one of my favorites. As far as I know, I can only get this dish here. The chilaquiles are my second favorite. Other than that, the menu is huge. Take your pick.
Breakfast here is such a treat. If you go on Sundays, you can walk off your greasy calories at the farmers market across the street. It's a great way to start off the day!

But I am hesitant to come back anytime soon. The last time I was there, I wanted to order from the menu instead of the buffet. Don't get me wrong, the buffet is one of the best Indian buffets I've ever had. But I love the dosas here as well, and that's what I was craving. My fiance had made her buffet trip already while I was waiting to order. I looked longingly at the waiter, and he told me he will be back in a few minutes. And so I waited. When he came around again he said a few more minutes. A little irritated, I waited longer. A few minutes later, he came back and said I needed to wait a few more minutes. I had given this man 20 minutes, and he tells me I need to wait longer? All of the times he asked me to wait, he could have taken my order, turned around, walked 4 steps and given it to the cook. We were sitting that close to the kitchen.
I had given up on him and went for the buffet since my fiance was almost finished with her food. He did not once come back to our table to check on us.
Why have a menu if you don't even give the customer a chance to order? Maybe next time I want to eat here I'll ask for delivery.
