I walked in and looked at the menu for quite some time. I heard people in the back, but they never bothered to come out to greet my friend and I. I realized that there wasn't much that I wanted to eat....mainly because it's mostly meat and fried. So I decided to walk out. Of course, they didn't bother saying anything either.
And yes, they did notice we were there....they just kept on going with their business without acknowledge us. Whatever.

Gah...I hate it when you're looking and looking for food...and you're at your last resort....here...and it's terrible.
I had the garlic ahi, and the ahi was so tough....it was hard to eat. I did not enjoy my meal. I will not go back even though I'm starving...I'd much rather go into don quijote and grab a musubi or sandwich.

I happened to drop by this place looking for someone, and they were really nice people. Unfortunately they had no clue who the person I was looking for was.... but they let us use their bathroom...and even gave us a book of Mormon. LoL.
The funny thing was a mom was yelling and swearing at her 7 year old looking kid in the parking lot though. LoL.

I was holding out on writing a review on this place...but I have finally made my decision. This place is a 4 star place. I love it here.
Yes, it's a bit more pricey than other places (and that's why I was hesitant to write a review), but you can't beat the quality of work here. My gel nails last 1.5 month here as opposed to maybe 2 weeks from a cheap place.
The best part of this place? It's open til midnight. That's right....I called at 10 PM for a cuti call, and rolled in at 10:30 and out by 11:45. Awesome. Love it.
So, whenever you feel like needing a midnight cuti call, hit up this place!

My friend loves it here, so I go, but if it were up to me, I'd rather not. I don't think that it tastes good. I don't know what it is...but I feel like there's no real "umami" to it.

Right when you walk in here, it's an atmosphere of 'whatever'.
My friend and I walked in, and they really didn't want to help us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was just ok....I got some spring rolls since they didn't have pho with vegetarian broth.
Let's just say there was no real service...

I'm so happy this place is open 24 hours. I went last night at 3 AM to get my dissertation printed and the guy was helpful in getting what I needed done.
It was expensive, to print 6 sets of 250 pages ...and then bind them...$125+ but whatever. Better than doing it myself at 3 AM in the morning. he he he.

Ok...so maybe the flavor of the shave ice isn't THE BEST...but you can't really argue when this place is filled with so much ALOHA...and they are now using ingredients that are real...not artificial. Kinda why they got rid of all their candies (junk food).
They wanted to ensure that what they were serving to the families and kids were "healthy" and not loaded with sugar and fat.
And when you go, make sure you "talk story" with Uncle Clay.

Since the "super moon" was out, my friends and I decided to hike up at night to check it out. I've never been to this place during the day so I can't say how this hike it is during the day, but I enjoyed it at night. Thankfully I went with people that knew the route so we were safe. A lot of other people were on the path too.
We went to the second bunker, and hung out there for a while. For me, it was quite cold with the wind blowing.
I'd love to go back to this place during the day.
The rumor is that they are planning on closing this hike so if you want to check it out, go soon!
