I would like to start out by saying that I am probably a little biased because I love pie more then I love most things.
On that account it did not disappoint, the mixed berry pie was a little slice of heaven, the pumpkin pie was not as good as some I've had other places, but I am pumpkin pie snob, and this was still damn good pumpkin pie.
They have AMAZING tea, black tea with rose petals was amazing, and I love how eco-friendly they are.
My only complaint being that parking is irritating, I *HATE* metered parking, but I would still put up with the annoyance for this place.
I can't wait to go back, because I feel that after all the rave reviews I HAVE to try the banana cream pie.

I got coconut, taro, and green tea, it was AMAZING!!!!
Parking sucks a little bit, and there's not much seating, but it's worth it!
Okay, so it usually takes awhile to arrive, but it is ALWAYS worth the wait. The "Green with Envy" and "Screaming Tomato" are sooooo good.
It's a teeny bit expensive in comparison to big chain pizza delivery places, i.e. Pizza hut, but it is DELICIOUS and the slices are HUGE.
Plus you can order online, which is great for people like me who don't like to use their phone.
I have been going to Evita's since I could walk, and since moving away from Ventura I miss it like a bad habit.
The Los Tres burrito is amazing as are the nachos, and don't even get me started on how much I love the friggin salsa.
Everyone is really nice, you can always find parking, and it is SUPER cheap.

Probably one of my most frequent haunts in San Francisco. The atmosphere and service are great.

The look of the place is friggin amazing, I tell you what. With everything from paper mache owls hanging from the ceiling, to fun fact place mats, to chairs with different names on the back of them. I love this place, no really, I do.
It is often pretty busy, like a lot of places in West Portal, and parking can be a drag, but dude, it's worth it.

This is an amazing place to go after spending the day at Golden Gate park, the service and atmosphere is great, the parking is ... not as great. But really, the place is awesome, you just might have to walk a little bit.
My favorite things: black mushroom and tofu, and the green onion pancakes. Also they have mango and green tea ice cream.
The service is great, and they're always happy to see you if you're a regular.
Pretty much always parking nearby.

One of my favorite things is to eat here and then catch a movie over at the Castro theater.
They are always open, have HUGE portions, and the food is soooo good. AND CHEAP. Which totally floats my boat, being an impoverished student.
Okay, so it's diner food, but you know what? I've had bad diner food. And this place makes amazing grilled cheese sandwiches and CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA PANCAKES!
The service is always amazing, I am never wanting for refills at all.
My first experience here, was me at the bar at nearly midnight, and the service was JUST as AWESOME then as during the day, even though I just a tea and some fries.
As far as little hole in the wall places go, this is one of my absolute favorites. If you haven't gone here, shame on you, go now, no really, just get up and go now. You won't be sorry.
Parking in Castro is pretty much always harry, but it's literally RIGHT across the street from the muni station.

Seriously, it is the closest to bliss you're likely to get. The horrible parking be damned, I would walk on hot coals for the Banana cream pie!
