If you LOVE plantains, then this restaurant is for you. Seems like plantains are in every dish. I don't know what I was expecting but I didn't walk away thinking I'll come back. It was no big deal to me.
But they certainly weren't bad and the service was very nice.

I might have given 4 stars if the service was somewhat friendly. I never saw a smile on anyone's face and nobody asked how my meal was.

The prices were comparable and the selection was pretty good.
I had the bun with egg roll and beef but I added grilled shrimp and a meatball.
I was also disappointed that they didn't play traditional music, just top 20. At least it wasn't country.

I think this place is pretty damn good. I've been there twice and have really enjoyed everything I ate. The gentlemen that basically runs the place, is very gentle and friendly.
I recommend the combo platter. They also offer a vegetarian combo platter too.
I wish they played traditional music, I don't think they did.
And try to either play some movies from Ethiopia or t.v. (not American sports)... I want to feel like I totally left Santa Rosa.

I can't say anything more... this place was perfect. I've never had a better breakfast bagel. I will compare ALL breakfast bagels to Darren's.
The staff was incredibly friendly and fun. I tried to go back again the next day but there was no where to sit.
I did notice, however; the potatoes on my bf's plate weren't browned or crispy. So if that's your thing...
You gotta try this place out.

Yum! Dinner was so fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. I was sweatin' though, the place was pretty hot - with all the boiling pots going.
I wish I could have had some nigiri with dinner but I didn't see any sushi. Heads up.

The lamb was awesome! Big, hearty chunks with rice. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Can't wait to go back!

I tried their Chop Chae tonight. It was good, a little salty though and I'm a smoker. I've only been to a few Korean restaurants but they usually bring about 6 different starters/sides, Korean House only brought out 3. But that's ok, my entree was BIG and I could struggled to eat half my food.
The woman who took my order was super friendly but the restaurant was hella hot. Felt about 90. Bring a swim suit and a fan.
I look forward to coming back and trying out the other goodies.

Brand new restaurant, located in the Hyatt - downtown St. Louis. I had the opportunity to eat there during the All Stars, so nobody was in the restaurant. I had service alllll to myself. ;-)
The staff was super nice. Loved chatting with the girls.
They have a mini "Color of Benetton" going on. One waitress was from Brazil, another from France and a third from Indonesia. Very interesting conversations.
They have different food all the time. Menu changes. Some times they have a pasta bar. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful.
I highly recommend the chicken pasta with sun dried tomatoes and asparagus.
