I would have to agree with a few others, the atmosphere is good but the food was a little below that.

I had the Roast Beef Dip, added some cheese, which was served up hot and fresh. The Onion Rings were good, and the beer selection sufficed. The only thing that was a slight turn off was the 10,000 monitors around me while on the bottom floor. I felt like I was under a tanning lamp, and on info overload. I guess it's a sports bar, but overly sporty.

The menu has a huge variety of things to select from, which is a good plus.

The brie, quesadilla, steak, was tasty, and all cooked with good flavor and very fresh. Our waitress was quick, and we never waited more then a minute or two for a refill or plates to be moved away. Enjoyable to sit outside and people watch while enjoying some appetizers and wine.

Perfect place for snacks and wine.

Visited in between exhibits at Atlantic Station. Our server was on top of it, though he only had 3 tables. Not into reds, they brought out whites that were much more appealing to us.

The chicken quesadilla is very good, at all the locations, good consistently at all of them. Offer good variety of whites and sparkling, enjoy place to unwind during the afternoon.

We hopped over to the Nook for the last night of Midtown Restaurant Week. Even though the website said through Sunday, this particular place ended a few days earlier, at least according to our waitress. The rest week menu did not appeal, so no big deal.

The redneck tato totts was really good, we shared them with our table. The Dragonberry Mojito, served in a mason jar went down smooth and was awesome!

The steak frites was cooked to perfection, substituted in onion rings. Our server was quick, the outdoor seating on a warm summer evening made for a great experience. We ended the night by trying the tang fish bowl, found it to be overrated. Pass on that overpriced bowl of ice. It was just tang with alcohol, and BLAND. Another restaurant in Philly has the buzz aldren, which is MUCH better.

I believe that the shock value goes away once you are in the exhibit. The science of it is truly amazing. No line, we just walked on through after doing Dialogue.

The most interesting part for me was the nervous system, and arteries. It reminded me of a scene from Terminator or something. It was very unusual, slightly disturbing. My colleague had challenges with the infant portion.

The stroke victim, cancer victims and impacts on the body was also very interesting to see how it impacts the actual organ.

Though a bit weird concept, I found it very interesting and disturbing to have no vision for 45 minutes. To be lead through different scenarios, and relying more on other senses was an awakening experience. The grocery store experience and big city was very real life.

It makes you realize how you take sight for advantage. Feeling can goods or cheese in a fridge, not knowing what it is. The people were friendly and it was a great, "eye opening" experience.

The Gardens At Ravinia Florist

 Update - 9/15/2009
A friend was stuck in an airport so hopped on the internet and ordered flowers via teleflora. He asked me to pick them up from the florist to give to a colleague. The florist who has worked with me many times, lectured me on and on and on how she only gets 50% of the money when you order through Teleflora and why did I.

Again, I NEVER EVER placed the order, picked it up. She told me to call my friend and tell him. I asked if she wanted me to cancel it, she said no, but that I need to tell him to call direct. " I would make it nicer but you went through teleflora so this is what you get". I asked for the chocolates it was supposed to come with, which she then said I'd have to wait an hour to the agreed delivery time if I wanted them. Though they were paid for.

I picked up flowers again 2 weeks later, and she brought it up AGAIN! Seriously? GET over the cost of business. I am in hotels and we pay commission, part of the business, and the cost of business. Is it better to have $1 or $0. Just don't get how close minded they are!

They have beautiful flowers, they really don't know how to arrange them, and they don't price them out, they come up with random totals "$50" for 3 sunflowers, and 3 other flowers, some greenery and a yellow rose. I need a BETTER Florist with options, PLEASE.

This place is located in the bottom floor of where I work. When I am in a pinch, it really does the purpose well, even on Valentines Day. The owners work very hard for your money, and try hard to remember who you are. I like the variety they have, and how they try.

Cons--- They really don't know how to arrange flowers you pick out, when you get them they look like they were thrown together at times, but if you buy one they have time to work on, big difference.

Another chain place, with good service but the food was overall bland. I enjoyed the ravioli but it seemed to be missing flavor. One note, the creamy soup they offer up as a regular soup item was GREAT. If only the rest of the food was that good, versus "okay".

A good friend mentioned visiting One Midtown and after hearing the name so many times, I opted to give it a shot during their restaurant week.

The interior of the place had a great feel, seeing the rolling hill outside, the classic light bulbs above the main dining area, and curved bar, very cool. I will merge my two meals into one, as I went back a few days later for a Birthday party for a friend.

Goat Cheese appetizer was unique, the truffle flavor added a great touch to the food.

Main Course was Steak Frites which had Parmesan Herb fries. The steak was served up to perfection, full of flavor and delectable. My other visit was the Smoked Brisket which also was a great dish, cooked to perfection. Not overcooked, not undercooked.

Dessert - They offered up cheesecake, among other very tasty fresh items with Georgia Peaches in them. Served up hot.

The Beverages---- Our waitress was told what we liked and delivered EVERYTIME incredible drinks. Their One Martini, One Mojito, and One Margarita are also very tasty.

Great Service, easy to make reservation on opentable, will be back!

They also do a thing on Tuesday's ( I think) where you can do food and wine sampling with the chef, if you have interest.

Kathleen and the Yelp Team, exceeded my expectations yet, AGAIN! The parking was a breeze with the lot next door, quick to get in, and tons of space to move around. The free glass, lunch box, was great extra fun touches that made the night even more memorable.

The space was ample to walk around, DBA was great food, and exceeded my expectations.

I enjoyed meeting the newbies as well, and all of the photos are great candids of awesome moments.

Thank you YELP!!
