Friendly proprietors and good location by downtown, but kitschy furnishings and décor, small bathroom and tiny sink, and minimal breakfast. For $150/night, could do better.

Great exhibit that 3 of us went to see on Saturday afternoon. $31 admission plus $6 audio tour (be sure to listen to the recordings for kids, too, as they're kinda fun) plus tax made this a $40 visit per person, but it was worth it. All 3 of us loved it. Took us about 3 hours to get through all 11 or 12 rooms.

Was visiting from out of town, so called this place to see when their good night was and they said it was Friday, when they have drag show and strippers/dancers. Called Friday evening to find out time of drag show, and person who answered phone said midnight. Us 8 visitors arrived at 11:45pm, and by 12:45am, the drag show still hadn't started *and* there were no strippers or dancers anywhere. Place only had about 20 people, with an empty dancefloor that was about 10' x 10'. I was embarrassed to have brought my fellow visitors to this place--wish we had gone somewhere else. The only good thing was no cover and they had 2 pool tables.
Food was pretty good, but the service was a little bit less than good. Foie gras served two ways (including foie gras brulee) was delicious, the duck breast was juicy and tender, and the vanilla bean flan was tasty but could have been much better (more vanilla and other flavors would have helped). The server forgot to bring the spoon for the brulee, another server's description of the amuse bouche included forgetting to describe the powder on the plate and what a scallop is called, and the special menu for our group meal had a glaring typo in describing the reason for the group meal. A good meal, but would eat elsewhere before returning here.

Got the switch on my digital camera fixed in less than 10 mins for a cool $30. Small, unassuming place, but good customer service, so I'll go back if the need arises...
I just picked up two pizzas here last night for a phone bank in another part of Palo Alto, and was impressed. I ordered the special: $13 for a large NY-style pepperoni or cheese pizza. Pizza was piping hot right out of the oven and quick service for my urgent pickup was appreciated.
Call center to order, though, was a surprise. And the 1-minute wait to place my order was annoying...

4 of us went on Friday night and enjoyed the food, the ambience, the service. Overall, a good bang for your buck..
Soft-shell crab, spring rolls, and calamari were good. Steak and fries was the best thing we ordered, though, b/c the flavor of the steak bites was SO good.
The mango-flavored alcoholic drinks were enjoyed by all as well.
We'll definitely be back!

Just went to this place last night (Monday), and was very disappointed with the service, the weak margaritas, and most of the food. The best part of the meal was the guacamole. The chips were ok, as was the salsa. My chicken mole was ok, but the "double chicken breast" was unimpressive. My co-diner was also unimpressed with her burrito. I won't go here again, mostly b/c of (1) the painfully slow service, (2) the overpriced and under-tequilaed margaritas, and (3) the overpriced but decent food.

Cons=didn't have the hot or iced green tea I originally ordered; overcharged with dinner price of entree instead of lunch prince; smell of new wood
Of mention=menu doesn't indicate that brown rice is available--I found out from another yelp review from today; no mints, toothpicks, or other items available upon departure; apparent owners/managers shadowed servers, presumably to translate and make sure orders were right (and in our case, to figure out why bill was wrong)
