Even though this location is really busy, I like coming here because of Dr. Patel. She is a young Indian woman who is really nice and will explain to you what's going on with your eyes. She answers any questions I have and she is very helpful. I went to her about a month ago because my eyes were really red and it turns out that my nerves were inflamed. She gave me some drops to put in my eyes and it fixed my problem. Fast forward to today, my eyes have been kinda red again for the past week and my right eye is a bit blurry when I wear my contacts or glasses. It turns out that my right eye is really dry and she told me to get some over the counter drops for my eye. Hopefully it works well for me cuz I have to use it for the next 5 days. Anyway, I appreciate her explaining the cause(s) to me of my eye and did so in a nice way. Because of how nice she is I might even buy some new glasses from them!
Fried chicken, greens and cabbage! Yummmmmmmyyyy! What a great lunch! the food was so delicious! IThe only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't like their cornbread. I prefer cornbread that's really sweet and theirs is not sweet at all. The greens today tasted like they could have used more vinegar but they were still good. The fried chicken was so good though cuz it has the right amount of crunch and spices. Will be back here in the near future!

This place has really good soul food. They offer different types of meats with several side dishes. I personally wanted some oxtails, but they don't offer that on Sundays so I went with the fried chicken, okra and sweet potatoes. Yummmmy! I love okra! I also had some fruit punch that was soooooo good! I like my juice to be really sweet and it was exactly that! I was a bit disappointed though on the peach cobbler. My girl ordered it and she hated it. I tasted some of it and I didn't like it either. The dough part wasn't doughy and tasted like a sweet cornbread with peaches on it. I would definitely go eat here again, but just not order a peach cobbler.
Great place for gettin good deals! I got tomatoes for .79/lb, spaghetti sauce for 3 for $5, garlic bread for 2 for $4 and a big stupid bag of corn on the cob for only $6! Tryin to get most of the superbowl food ready for this Sunday!

The prices are very competitive and they have a good selection of items. I don't really like their produce dept. because sometimes they are overpriced or don't have as good as a selection as other stores. I get good deals on meat and frozen foods and other goodies. I got a 4 lb. bag of chicken wings for only $6! Wooo hooo! Sometimes this store can get really crowded, but the lines are not that bad.
I'm not sure if this is the location in Gurnee Mills mall but I hope so. I loved this store! The aisles were clean and clothes were in the right places. I don't really like looking through every single rack just to get a bargain so I kinda skim through the clothes. I found 2 pairs of awesome skater-type shoes! My girlfriend and BFF hated them so I knew they were good to go for me to buy. I love to wear funky type things that nobody else would wear so I can be the only one rockin them! Anywho, I also bought a Calvin Klein sweater for only $15! I found all types of great deals here! Will definitely come back here when the weather gets better!
I don't know why this says it's closed cuz it's not. I just went here last Friday and it was open. They were having a sale of buy 1 get 1 free of clearance T-shirts. Since I am not one for passing up great deals, I had to check it out. I found some shirts with HILARIOUS sayings on them! I was laughin so hard in the store! Here's the best part of the whole deal, the shirts were only $3.97 - $7.97! Can you believe it!? I ended up gettin 4 shirts for about $12! Isn't that AWESOME!? They had other funny shirts that were not on clearance but cost only $15 so it's still not expensive to get these fantastic shirts. Now I'm on a mission to go to all the Spencer stores so I can find more great deals!

I usually go to the Pompei in Oak Park, but I just found out they closed. I'm not sure why but now I have to travel a bit to get to these wonderful salads! I ordered the chopped chicken salad and it was deeeelish! I love love love it! I like how you can have field greens instead of the regular lettucs they have on the menu. I also ordered the fettucini alfredo with chicken and brocolli. It was pretty good too. I really appreciate the drive up window for pick ups. It makes it so much more convenient to call and place an order and then drive up to get it. I guess I have no choice but to get used to this location since the one by my crib is no longer! ;(
Spent the entire day at the mall with my girl and BFF shopping so of course we became real hungry. This place was kinda crowded, but we got served right away. I wanted a burger and some salad so I ordered the mini burgers and the salad bar. My burgers were pretty good. The salad had good choices. I always appreciate a salad bar that includes field greens and spinach. The fries were endless but I couldn't eat that much cuz I ate so much from the salad bar. I was definitely stuffed and happy after eating here. The other girls were satisfied with their meals as well. Yaaaaay 4 shoppin & eatin!
I was really looking forward to this buffet cuz I've heard good things bout this place. The place is huge, but it's deceiving cuz you think there's gonna be tons of food, but the selection was not that great. The fried chicken was good and i liked the butter rolls. The chinese and mexican food they made was not so good at all. The foods didn't taste like how they were suppose to. The best part of the place was the dessert station cuz they had a lot to choose from. I don't frequent buffet places and this restaurant just confirms why i don't.
Ordered some take out from here the other day and it was delicious of course! I don't expect anything less from mama thai! We ordered panang curry with tofu, panang curry with chicken, red curry with chicken and chicken satay. Everythin was awesome and we all enjoyed our meal!

This is a FABULOUS restaurant! The service is wonderful and the food is excellent! I've been going to this restaurant for at least 5
