I went to Moto for the first time tonight, and it was great! My only complaint that it was a bit of a walk from my apartment. Me and friend sat at the bar and only had drinks, but the place is great. They had a good wine and beer on tap selection, and the food people around us had looked delish. While me and my friend had great conversation, I caught myself looking around at the decor and people every few minutes, great atmosphere. The place was small and dim, with lots of candles, perfect for a date spot. The bartender was friendly, reserved our spot at the bar with a cute sign while we stepped out for a minute, and remembered our drink order throughout the night. Over all a great experience. I will be going back soon... just hopefully on an empty stomach to try the food, and on a non-rainy night since it was a little bit of a hike home.

I don't buy groceries here, but I do get an ice coffee every single day. Best coffee in the area, and it's cheap compared to other coffee places in the area or starbucks. Lg hot is $1.75 and Lg ice is $2.00, and it's AMAZING! I've had their salads too- they're always fresh and yummy, and better then a Manhattan lunch spot.

Perfect for first dates. Very cute, lots of little 2 person outdoor wooden tables, and great atmosphere. They have a good selection of wines, and everyone who works there are sweethearts. It has a great vibe for sitting at a little table for hours, having amazing conversations and drinking great wine.

Welcome to the Johnson's

Johnson's isn't fancy, it's bad for dates, you wont pick anyone up here, and they don't serve wine or beer on tap, but I still go weekly. It's a local dive on the les, where people go to drink $2 dollar pbr's. If you accept it for what it is, the place is great. Me and my friend tend to go here and sit at the bar and shoot the shit for hours. Sometimes it's crowded and sometimes the bars empty, and I can't seem to figure out a rhyme or reason for when when it's packed or not. It kinda feels like cheers to me, where the bartender knows my name and drink of choice, while the bouncer knows my life story.

I've only been here for brunch, so my opinion may be bias. But, I do love this place. It's not the best brunch place in the city, but you get a ton of food, and unlimited mimosas till 4pm. It's the perfect place for a layed back hung over brunch with friends, and they have lots of large tables- great for large parties. Plus, at $14 for food and unlimited drinks, you can't really complain about anything. It's nice in the summer with the patio, but insides not bad. My favorite part is the staff during brunch. Perfect for an alcoholic on a budget because your drink is never empty and they encourage you to stay till 4 to get your free drinks, even if you've finished eating at 2.

I went to P&P tonight for the first time. I was recomended by a friend, and thank God! I came in, everyone was super friendly, offering me Vogues and wine- my kinda place! I called ahead and said I saw something on lifebooker and they knew what I was talking about, and said I didn't even have to make the apt. through lifebooker, just say it and I'd get the discount, which is amazing in my book.

I just got a color, my bank account couldn't handle a cut today. The color came out rich and glossy, very even. My stylist was new to the salon, yet very professonal and experienced, and kept a good convo throughout the appointment which I love. The color and blow dry with the lifebooker discount was $60, which I think is good for NY. Over all I'm really happy with it and can't wait to go back. I think after all these years I've finally found my go-to salon!
